Our B&B is the refurbishment of an historical hotel opened at the beginning of the 20th century and it is managed by a young couple with children.
The B&B is located on the top of the eastern hill above Como inside an old park with an amazing view on the Alps and on the Lake Como on the side where George Clooney has is Villa.
There are several possibilities for lake tours and trekking on the mountains to Bellagio.
A public car parking is available for our guests.
We offer to our guests an unique and romantic stay in confortable double rooms with private bathrooms, some with lake view, some with park view and the terrace. All the rooms have minibar, safe, satellite TV, telephone with international calls and Wi-Fi Internet access. Some rooms are equipped with electric cooking facilities.
The plentiful breakfast is served in a room with a wonderful lake view or in the terrace on the Lake. At few steps from our B&B there are very good restaurant with both traditional italian and local menus, and at only 100 meter you can reach the panoramic Volta's Lighthouse Tower with the unique view spacing from the Lombardy valley to the Alps and the Lake.

Albergo Paradiso Sul Lago Very friendly atmosphere, amazing view, helpful and kind staff. As room floor is tiled - slippers in rooms are a must.

Albergo Paradiso Sul Lago Bar shut too early fo my liking and there were at leats three groups of people who would have stayed up.

Albergo Paradiso Sul Lago Great View and friendly staff. The road up the mountain was challenging (narrow and lots of switchback s) but the ride was worth it. Next time we would take the train to Como and ride the vihicular up the mountain and pay a euro for a shuttle to the hotel. Sunsets from the lighthouse were almost worth the price of admission. We would stay there again on next visit given the opportunity.

Travel information
By Bus or Train:
From Malpensa take the shuttle bus Malpensa-Como Lago or the train Malpensa Express to Saronno and then from Saronno take the train to Como Lago. From Linate take the bus to Milan centre and then the tube to Cadorna F.N.M railway station. From Cadorna F.N.M. take the train to Como Lago. The cable-car station is at 400 meters walking distance from Ferrovie Nord Como Lago train station and the main Como bus station (about 800 meters from the main Como Ferrovie dello Stato station). Take the cable-car from Como to Brunate. From the Brunate cable-car station walk for 20 minutes to San Maurizio or take the shuttle-bus Brunate-San Maurizio-CAO up to the bus stop “San Maurizio”.
By Car:
Arriving with the A9 motorway take the Como Sud or Como Nord exit, then follow the “Como centro” direction and then when you arrive at the Roman Tower wall you have to turn right and after 500 m. at the railway crossing go straigh on. After 5 Km once arrived in Brunate village you need to follow the main paved road to San Maurizio - Faro Voltiano direction. Once arrived to Brunate Church square you need to go ahead for other 12 curves and stop the car at the parking space in the San Maurizio's church square, your are arrived!!!
