We are located in Venice historic heart, where you find tipical local shops and 'bancarelle' (stalls). Alloggi Sardegna is a few meters away from Campo del Ghetto, the Jewish Square, 10 minutes walk from Ponte di Rialto and 15 minutes walk from San Marco square. The proprietors, who personally run Alloggi Sardegna, are always willing to help you with the planning of your visit and to help you discover a wonderful town following routes different from the ones you can find in the usual turists giude.
If you wish, you can ask to be picked up by the hotel staff at your arrival at the train station Santa Lucia or bus station Piazzale Roma.

The hotel is very conveniently located for the main water bus stops, to visit the islands of the Venice Laguna, such as Murano, Burano, Torcello and, least but not last, the Lido di Venezia. The Lido is situated less than 30 minutes journey by water bus. It is here that the International Film Festival takes place every year and the Lido has also a very famous beach.

Travel information

From Piazzale Roma (bus and car park): cross over Ponte degli Scalzi and walk towards Lista di di Spagna. Walk towards Ponte delle Guglie and cross it ( you are in Rio Tera' S. Leonardo ) and go straight on. Walk for another 100 meters until a left turning for Rio Tera' Farsetti. Go straight on and cross the Ponte di Legno: you find Alloggi Sardegna in the first alleyway on your right.

From Santa Lucia train station: leaving the station behind your back, turn left and go straight on: you are in Lista di Spagna. Walk straight on till you reach Ponte delle Guglie . Cross it and keep going until you reach a left turning for Rio Tera' Farsetti.
Go straight on and cross the Ponte di Legno: you find Alloggi Sardegna in the first alleyway on your right.

With the water bus service A.C.T.V.: from Piazzale Roma or the train station Santa Lucia locate the nearest water bus stop ( water bus route n.1). Alight at San Marcuola stop ( water bus stop n.4). From there walk on for 10 metres then turn left then take the second alleyway on your right. Go straight on until a crossway keep going: you are in Rio Tera' Farsetti. Go straight on and cross the Ponte di Legno: you find Alloggi Sardegna in the first alleyway on your right.

About the property This hotel is a little Gem, the rooms are small but adequate and in Venice I expected the rooms to not be so spacious. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, and the host although she only speaks Italian is very helpful and accommodating and we had no problem.

About the property The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. We were in the room on the first floor, whcih was extremely small, and noisy since it was right next to the "street" which is actually more like an alley, and also very close to a canal. The twin beds were not standard size and were also quite small. It was fairly easy to get to via Vaparetto.
