“Set in refurbished historical building. Rooms were clean and modernly furnished. Location was great, a few steps from the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and many other places of interest in Rome. We had a very pleasant stay.„
Group - Ireland, September 2011

In the heart of Baroc Rome and it's great artists, between the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain and Via Veneto, the “Barberini Suites” combines professionalism and traditional “roman hospitality” in an environment which is stylish and refined down to the smallest detail.
Our building is located right in the centre and within minutes walk of the major monuments and artistic points of interest, close to all the most prestigious italian and international designer stores. Characteristically elegant with an air of exclusivity, featuring handcrafted cherry wood furniture, sumptuous fabrics and antique finishes, and impressive combination of colour and light.
Bathrooms are finished in a simple classic style. Our Suites contain every comfort and are the perfect option to soak up the atmosphere of the “Eternal City”, whether for the Business traveller or Romatic couple.
Suite Carvaggio, Suite Michelangelo, Suite Raffaello, Suite Leonardo are inspired and styled to reflect the great Italian artists, this is reflected in their warmth and décor.
Elegance and functionality were the principal criteria in realising and furnishing our Suites. The Suites are a harmonious combination of rich style and atmosphere with an air of simplistic refined elegance that connect to the heart of the true Baroc Rome, gilded finishes on cornices, lamps, luggage racks and even bathroom fittings, that say antique, exclusive and expensive, this is balanced and complimented by the warm wood tones of the flooring, with light walls, and handcrafted furniture in the style of Louie the 16th.
The rooms are large and spacious with Mantuan drapery in rich fabrics, from the refined bedding, to the hand chosen furniture which includes a bed and cupboard, an elegant bedside table, a comfortable sofabed, writing desk, breakfast table and barfridge.
There are many small details that that set the tone we speak of ornate bath with gilded legs, shower decorated in mosaic, and in one of our Suites a balcony looking over Via del Tritone.
Inside our suites relaxation is assured with double glazed windows, adjustable heating and cooling, television with LCD screen, wireless connection and safe.
Via del Tritone derives it's name from the celebrated fountain of Lorenzo Bernini that is found adjacent to Piazza Barberini, and is situated in the historical centre of the city, near the most important points of the city, Via Sistina and the Spanish steps, the heart of fashion and shopping, and the most renowned and romantic view of Rome.
Via Veneto with it's cafe's and restaurants where day and night you can breath in the atmosphere of the “Dolce Vita”, the celebrated Trevi Fountain, the Quirinale and Via Nazionale.
Follow the Via del Corso , which leads one way to Piazza Venezia and from there to the Colossium, the other to Piazza del Popolo with it's churches and the paintings if Caravaggio. From there take the small winding streets and lanes to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Castle St Angelo and St Peter's........the heart of Rome it is all close by for you to explore. Perfectly positioned to transport the undergroud (Metropolitana) at Piazza Barberini is only two stops from Termini Station and four from St Peters and the Vatican Museum.
The surrounding area was redeveloped around the end of the 500, following a precise plan of restoration and urban re-evaluation this was initiated by Pope Sisto 5th, with it's abundance of noble buildings, such as palazzo Barberini (which now houses the National Gallery of Antique Art), churches, streets and fountains designed by the most celebrated Italian Baroc artists.

Barberini Suites Set in refurbished historical building. Rooms were clean and modernly furnished. Location was great, a few steps from the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and many other places of interest in Rome. We had a very pleasant stay.

Barberini Suites We booked this hotel mainly for the central location, it is very close to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay here.
8.8
Barberini Suites I enjoyed my stay at Barberini Suites a great deal and would stay there again.

Barberini Suites The guys that run this were brilliant, the suites are in a great location and prisitine. This was for our honeymoon and they even put in a bottle of bubbly to welcome us. We would stay here agin in a heartbeat as this completed our very special holiday. I will also advise that you ask the staff where to eat, we followed their advice and experienced the real italian gourmet .....Nothing negative to report!!

Barberini Suites This is NOT a hotel you will easiely find. Other than a plack on the side of a building you would never know this 2nd floor hotel exists. It is however in one of the best locatios available to see Rome. You can walk to all the major spots and it is on a metro line. Once you find the hotel and get your bags up the stairs or in the SMALL freight elevator, you enter a SMALL lobby that leads to SMALL rooms. However on the good side there is airconditioning, free internet, it is very clean and comfortable, and the price is very good for a hotel in this location. The breakfast that came with the room was worth missing. It is served in the room since there is no dining room. If you are planning to see Rome and only use your hotel for sleeping this is a good choice. If you are looking for the amenities of a great hotel this is not the place.

Barberini Suites The suites were clean and in a great location. Would stay again!

Barberini Suites Really enjoyed my stay. Fabulous location, very quiet in the room. Helpful, friendly staff which is very important as I cannot speak Italian. Would certainly stay there again.

Barberini Suites It was a fabulous find for us! The hotel and staff were both remarkable! Very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for our daily travels within Rome.
4.5
Barberini Suites The man at the front desk was extremely rude. I was stuck in Rome after a long trip and needed the internet to figure out my travels home as well as to get some work done. The internet was very weak and stopped working while I was using it. When I went to the front desk to ask for help the man said, "Why don't you throw your computer out the window and go see Rome" He then refused to help me. VERY RUDE!!! Also, they were smoking inside the hotel, and then trying to cover it with cologne so the entire place smelled horrible.
4.6
Barberini Suites Was exteremy disappointed with this hotel. The electricity wasnt working, the toilet ran all night. The shower was broken and the breakfast was a bowl of cereal small enough for a child, cold tea, it was pathetic.

Barberini Suites We returned last Friday from the Barberini Suites. Overall it was fine and met expectations. The rooms were clean, a/c worked well and very quiet. The staff was fine. Downside was that the website should say that the hotel is on the second floor of a building, and that there is only a small brass sign mounted on the wall, so it is hard to find, and when you do, there is no place but the sidewalk to park to unload. The other issue with our room was that the bath tub had neither a holder for the hand held shower, or a shower curtain. Therefore taking a shower was a chore and it was impossible to prevent flooding the floor. Given Rome's very high hotel prices, this hotel was a good find and extremely well located.

Barberini Suites Great location, friendly staff, and great price. Highly recommend.
9.5
Barberini Suites The hotel was in an excellent location (very close to the Piazza di Spagna). The hotel receptionist was incredibly friendly and informative. He helped us to find a shuttle bus to the airport, and even shopped around for the lowest rate to help save us money. The rooms had excellent air conditioning and were extremely clean. The breakfast was included in our stay and it was wonderful and fresh. It was brought to our room promptly every morning of our stay. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I took extra hotel cards to give people who are going to Rome. Basically, I would rate the hotel and its staff FABULOUS!!!!!
9.5
Barberini Suites They served a great buffet breakfast with a large assortment to choose from every morning.
8.9
Barberini Suites Well located, nice place. It would be better with a shower curtain around the tub and more powerful wi-fi
4.5
Barberini Suites This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at.
5.9
