The Hotel Paradiso, situated on the Posillipo hill, enjoys a spectacular view overlooking the charming bay and Vesuvius volcano. Looking towards the promenade along the seaside, you can see the Castel dell'Ovo, built during the eleventh century on the tufa-rock named Megaris, where the legend says, the Mermaid Partenope, enchanted by the place, built the city of Naples. Walking down the hill, you can arrive in few minutes to the harbour where the hydrofoils sail for the islands of Ischia and Capri. Going on for few steps, nearby the Mergellina Subway Station, you can visit the Mausoleum of Virgilio, ideal prelude to the greek-roman itinerary in the heart of the city. About the property The hotel is located a little far out of the centre!but in the best area of Naples! the restaurant has good food compare to other good restaurants! the views are very nice out of the rooms and hotels (rooms with a oceanview) overall a hotel to recommend to people who want to be in nice area outside the centre!
