The Hotel Riviera is situated 10 minutes from the Fiumicino International Airport "Leonardo da Vinci", 50 meters from the sea and 5 minutes from the archaeological digs of Ostia Antica. It's situated in proximity of embarks for Sardinia and "Isole pontine". Our staff will assist
You to rent a car. Climatizzate rooms, all with telephone and satellite Tv.

The hotel, recently restructured, offers living room with TV color, breakfast area, meeting room, free internet point, service laundry and a large private parking.

Shuttle service from/to airport available every day (excluded sundays) from 6am till 10am and from 5.30pm till 8pm. Costs is about 6 euro per person.

About the property My main reason for staying at this BestWestern was because of its location near the airport. The shuttle service offered was very good and saved us from hiring a taxi. Also BestWesterns always offered free Continental breakfasts which saves money and avoids having to find a place to eat in the morning. This hotel was on the small side and is not close to any sightseeing areas. However, it doesnts seem that its set up for that kind of stay. Vincenzo at the hotel was very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again especially when I have to use the airport.

About Traveleurope Traveleurope was very helpful in allowing the booking for BestWestern. The price was the same as was quoted in the website, which many times is different when one checks in. I would use this service again and would recommend it to any friends that plan on a vist to Europe. As a retired employee of American Airlines and in the travel business for over 30 years, I value when travel services are what they advertise.

About the property We appreciated the availability of a shuttle to go downtown on the evening we arrived. The hotel is advertised as being close to the airport with shuttle service. What is not said is that the shuttle costs extra. I think that amount should either be included in the room price or stated when one is booking.

About the property This hotel was the most expensive and the least nice of any during our 19 days in Italy. They have tried to fix it up, with heating and air conditioning in the room, heated floors in the bathroom, etc. The hallway carpets are old and red. It is like a motel 6 here in the states, very basic. We selected it because we wanted a place near the airport for our last day and it had a shuttle. The best thing about it was the shuttle and the very nice driver who took us to the airport. The closest food, in the afternoon, was a good 1 mile walk from the hotel. It has no food facilities on the premises. That was a big dissapointment. The neighborhood around the hotel did not look very safe, although the receptionist said it was. This was located in a partial residential area and we heard cars, people, barking dogs all the time. If there was a next time, which there won't be due to our horrible time in Italy, I would probably stay at the Hilton on the airport grounds. Close as it was to the airport, we were still charged E20 to get there, which is half of the price to Rome which is 40 miles away. Just added to the normal ripoffs we experienced the whole time in Italy.

About Traveleurope This is the 2nd time that we have used a service like this, travelocity in the states and this traveleurope. We looked at the description and the pictures and they looked lovely, however, they are misleading. We would probably only use something recommended by Rick Steves or Frommers if there was a next time. Too expensive for what you get. All of our accomodations in Italy were in the E80 to E110 range and were, for the most part, lovely places, so you can see at E129 this was way high for what we got.

About the property The hotel was perfect situated, just a few steps from the coastline, were you can choose between several nice restaurants. When we arrived the arco from our room wasn't working, but in a few minutes we had another room! Breakfast was perfect organised, with "real" coffee, juices, yogurt, fruit, bread etc. We used this hotel to rest from a cruise we made, it was quiet en we slept from 14.00 - 18.00. We can recommend this hotel. Fam. van Rutten from the beautifull Island of Curacao !!

About the property Bright and clean hotel. Great location close to the airport but also close to the seaside 'boardwalk' and restaurants/bars. Staff was friendly and helpful.

About the property This was an excellent hotel. We stayed there a total of 4 nights and found it sparkling clean and with a friendly staff. It is away from the noise and confusion of Rome, yet close enough to be able to get there easily, and the beach is within walking distance. A truly enjoyable stay!

About the property They didn't have transportation from the airport as stated every 1/2 hr. Took a taxi to get to hotel and then they had taxi in a.m. for me to go back to airport. Front desk staff and night audit staff were very helpful and friendly. Had a great stay, as short as it was. Would recommend to others. Thanks!
