After many months of radical restoration, it once again glows in its former splendour. The unique Venetian style has been recreated and the accommodation offered includes marble terrazzo floors, vaulted and frescoed ceilings, gilded picture frames, faux marble mantles, Murano glass chandeliers and intricately painted furniture covered in priceless silks. It looks much as it did when it housed the French embassy in the 1700s. 

Extending the full width of the hotel, the Great Hall is a remarkable gallery looking out over the water, facing the lagoon and Murano Island, and makes a fantastic venue for meetings and conferences. The 76 rooms of the Boscolo Hotel Dei Dogi are a compendium of Venetian style, starting with the Classic and moving on to the more spacious Deluxe version, complete with high ceilings and period décor. All guest rooms are outfitted with the latest amenities, including
high-speed internet access, air conditioning, cable TV with remote, direct telephone line, radio, hair dryer and in-room safe.

Food & Beverage

Honored with a star by the Superior Institute of the Culinary Arts, the 80-seat Giardino di Luca Restaurant specializes in Venetian cuisine with international specialties created by the highly qualified chefs, together with a well-rounded selection of Italian wines. Whether dining in the restaurant by candlelight or in the garden on a cool spring evening, there is something to tempt every palate.

For cocktails and wine, the 18-seat Bar Foscari Lounge is a refined location for a Venetian treat, reminiscent of a cozy European bar. The intimate atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and conversing after working up a thirst visiting Venetian sites.

Within 13 kilometres from Venice Airport, the Boscolo Grand Hotel dei Dogi is within easy walking distance of all the important sights of Venice including St Mark's Square, which is only 15 minutes away. Set just off the Grand Canal, the hotel location is extremely peaceful, and your sleep will not be disturbed by the hustle and bustle of the city.

Walking out of the Boscolo Grand Hotel dei Dogi you will be delighted to discover many Venice attractions within a few steps.

The Cannaregio, a wonderful hidden neighbourhood with great shops, bars and restaurants, will be one of the first places you will come across. If you would like to go to St Mark's, you can hop onto one of the complimentary shuttle boats leaving from the hotel.

There are also boats close by going to Murano, Burano, Torcello and other islands on the lagoon. Everything is very convenient to the Boscolo Grand Hotel dei Dogi, but just far enough away to keep it quiet and peaceful. The Boscolo Grand Hotel dei Dogi was nothing but an abandoned wreck up until a year ago.

• Take the Venice exit, follow the signs for Venice and Piazzale Roma.Park in one of the paid garages located in Piazzale Roma.
• From Piazzale Roma, take the public vaporetto (line n° 52 or n° 42) or private water taxi for 55/60 €.

From the Santa Lucia – Venice Train Station

• The station is approximately 1 km away.
• With the public vaporetto: line n° 42 or 52 every 10 minutes until 9:30 p.m., Madonna dell'Orto stop.
• By private water taxi: available 24 hours a day with no booking service, direct transport to the Hotel, price 55/60 €.

From the Marco Polo - Tessera Airport (Venice)

• The airport is approximately 5 km away.
• By private taxi: available 24 hours a day with no booking service, direct transport to the Hotel, price about 100 €.
• By land taxi to Piazzale Roma, then by public vaporetto (line n° 52 or n° 42) or private water taxi.
