Cà Furlan, whose name derives from the calle dei Furlani, is situated in front of the church of the Horseman of Malta, a church known as S. Giovanni dei Furlani in dialect but really called S. Giovanni Battista. Cà Furlan was built on top of the 15th century old horse stable, indeed designed for the shelter and feeding of the horses of Malta.
Still today, across the street, in the interior of the church of S. Giovanni Battista, one can admire the evocative cloister surrounded by the various coats of arms sculpted by the Horsemen of Malta leaving an indelible mark.

Cà Furlan today is a small, cosy hotel whose lavish marvel flooring and beautiful designed rooms let us relive the period when Venice was the powerful and wealthy “most serene” republic. Cà Furlan's elegant rooms are all equipped with every comfort and an impeccable cleaning service and assistance provided by a professional, highly qualified staff. Several rooms have windows situated right over a romantic canal that streams into the famous, picturesque bacino di San Marco.

B&B Ca' Furlan Beautiful hotel room, though difficult to initially find. Front desk hours are usually short, not all day long, but they waited a few hours for us to arrive so we could check in, which was very much appreciated. The staff was all very helpful and friendly.

B&B Ca' Furlan A very clean Hotel, quite small but very friendly family run. We arrived on an earlier flight than was expected and after phoning the numbers posted on the hotel door (reception is not 24 hrs) Olga came to check us in in no time. Well worth our stay in Venice. Not as difficult to find as mentioned on some posts (Get off at St Zaccharia , go left and walk over Two bridges Along Riva Schiavoni (You have to cross the bridge over Rio Della Pieta), turn left into an allyway Cale Dose into the piazza C. po Bandiera e Moro, walk to the right end corner of the piazza leading into the S Antonin street and follow the street to the left till you get to the bridge and canal, turn right and walk along the canal F. Furlani till you get to the bridge Ponte De La Comenda, turn right into Cale Del Furlani and the hotel is in the first alleyway on the left in Corte S.Giovanni Di Malta. Hope that anyone staying here enjoy Venice like we did.

B&B Ca' Furlan Hotel was very clean. Rooms were small, but throughout Italy it seemed they all were. Hotel staff wasn't available at all times, so it made it difficult. It was very hard to find. Directions should be included with the reservation.
