Feel Inn Highly contrasting reviews: The positives: Superb little hotel with excelent location for the airport an Venice access. New modern furnishings and apliances that work. It's clean. Sensible priced. Good breakfast. Superbissim restaurant (trattoria) at the street corner, one of the best we eat in in Italy!! The balcony/terrace with garden furniture is a splendid feature on one side of the building (ask for it especially if you're a smoker). Very friendly staff but...(see below) The negatives: Really hard to find. Internet description should include graphics! Spent more than half an hour finding it after narowing it down to a block level! Professional management desperately needed! Reception is ocasionally (i.e. rarely!) manned. There's nobody there when you need them (like when you're checking in!). Sloppy with the security during the day although the entrance door is locked at night and there are safes in each room. Some rooms didn't have TVs (they've apparently "left" through the unmanned entrance door). Soap was missing; we used shower gel amply provided. Wake up calls are a problem since there are no phones in the room. We found an alarm clock in a hallway cupboard that didn't have battery. (Used it anyway at the expense of the photo camera!). Work was underway in the bathrooms with wires still hanging out. Breakfast is served only between 9:30 and 10:30 AM which is too late for business and serious travellers.

Feel Inn Difficult to find as there was nothing to identify it as a hotel. Quality and decor of the rooms was very good. Reception operated on a part time basis and we were surprised that we were asked for full payment on day one of a three day stay.

Feel Inn When we arrived no one was at the front desk to receive us (it was about 11 pm). There were two numbers, but no answer at either of them. The hotel across the street was very helpful but didn't have any rooms available (they also tried calling CHARME INN for us to no avail). However, they directed us down the street, where they knew rooms were available. Fortunately our taxi driver waited for us during all of this and transported us to the hotel that did receive us.

Feel Inn Interesting experience! The hotel is very difficult to find--in the back of a small business mall, and NO signage whatsoever--not even on the entrance to their check in lobby. When we finally located the Inn by parking and walking the mall, the lobby was open, but deserted. There was a small handprinted sign on the outside door giving a phone # to call to have someone open the door and check in guests--but what American carries a cell phone in Italy? We finally got the desk clerk & owner to show up by answering his ringing pnone at his abandoned desk--by luck, the call was from a relative, who spoke enough English to call the owner/clerk and have him show up. Later, we spoke with two other guests, both of whom had similar problems just locating the hotel and then finding a check in person. Also later, we had to let in guest in who was calling below our window for help at 10 pm because they were locked out. There is no staff on premises. Breakfast was a joke--only served between 0930 and 1030 am! At an airport area hotel! Needless to say, virtually no guests got breakfast as they had to leave before 0930! The air conditioning was off for the entire hotel, and rooms were hot. On the positive side, the rooms were clean, furnishings new, and the neighborhood was quiet. In sum--the property was fine, but the owner and staff didn't have a clue on how to run a hotel. Nice people, just clueless.

Feel Inn Our main problem was with the hotel manager and the "breakfast included". On our arrival he offered E20 discount for cash. We accepted. We later realised that was foolish as we had lost any bargaining power. Breakfast was advertised as being served between 9.30 and 10.30. As this was our first European stop we didn't realise how abnormally late this was. However he didn't turn up to unlock and serve breakfast on the first morning, and all couples waiting gave up is disgust at 9.50 and headed into venice. When my husband asked about it later in the day and asked for a refund he just went off his face and got abusive. One of the other parites of 3 had ordered 2 rooms and arrived to be told there was only 1 room and they all had to sleep together. When they challenged, he again went off his face and got abusive. I don't think they'll go back either. On the positive side, the room was a good size, was clean, had a deck, but was unfinished eg there was ahole with wires in the bathroom wall where a hair drier should have been. It was also a bit hard to find as it is not on the main road, so a map on the website showing the entrace would be handy for others
