The modern structure of the hotel offers great hospitality and comfort. When entering the spacious foyer the guest is welcomed by the grand staircase that leads you to the first floor where you can relax, in one of our comfortable sitting areas or have a drink at the Monet Grand Café. On the same floor you will find our restaurant Botticelli where the menu is à la carte. In our private rooms Ferré and Gaugin it is possible to organize dinners and small parties. The Grand Hotel di Como also offers a banquet room for ceremonies, social events or parties accommodating up to 600 people. The banquet facilities are the highlight of the hotel: the versatility of the meeting rooms will accommodate your meetings whether it is a seminar, a reunion, a symposium, training seminars or presentations. Arriving to the hotel by car is simple and direct because we have an indoor private parking facility that can host up to two hundred cars.
Guests can enjoy their free time at our fully equipped fitness center featuring a complimentary steam bath and sauna.

Room information

The 153 guest rooms are elegantly decorated with precious Como silk paintings illustrating the masterpieces of the famous artists Monet, Botticelli and Gauguin. The spacious room size accommodates a sofa in every double room and the richly decorated marble bathrooms have amenities of a hotel of superior standards. The location of the hotel in a private park, away from traffic guarantees peace and tranquillity. In total we have 120 double rooms and 33 single rooms to suit your needs.

Food & Beverage

Elegance and class are the characteristics of the gastronomic restaurant "Il Botticelli", ideal for à la carte lunches or candle lit dinners. Our wine list has a great selection of national and international wines that will satisfy even the most savvy wine connaisseur.
The menu proposes a wide selection of entrées from classic international to special Italian and Como Lake cuisine interpreted with fantasy by our Chef.

The Grand hotel di Como is situated in a strategic position between downtown Como and Cernobbio, a few hundred meters from the freeway exit Como north, the Swiss border and the convention center of Villa Erba. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel you can find transportation by boat or bus that can take you in just a few minutes to the historic center of Como. Furthermore the hotel is easy to reach coming from the Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Lugano Agno airport.  
For centuries Como has been a frequent tourist destination because of its charming beauty. Como's old style buildings but modern city are modelled after the Roman history of the city. The landscape of hills surrounding Lake Como make this area a unique place to visit. The Medieval and Renaissance periods had a great impact on Como's culture and historical development. Important monuments such as: the gothic style Duomo, the Broletto, the plaza and the church of San Fedele, the Civic Museum, the Basilica of S. Abbondio and S. Carpoforo were created. Today in a more modern style we have new buildings constructed by the famous architects Terragni and Santelia. Walking along the Lake you will find many famous Villas including Villa Olmo which hosts famous museum collections and art exhibitions.
