One of the historical hotels on Lake Como, the Grand Hotel Imperiale is a 4 star Hotel Resort of great charm, built in late Art Nouveau style, with a new wing reminiscent of the Rationalist style which originated in Como. The hotel looks directly on to the Lake and is set in a luxuriant garden.
The Hotel has kept all the atmosphere of a period hotel, in a very picturesque setting, as though it were an integral part of the landscape and architecture typical of this part of Lake Como.
Its position, a few kilometres from Cernobbio and only 7 km from the centre of Como as well as the easy access by public transport, including the pier of the Navigazione dei Laghi ferries, makes it an ideal destination for both tourism and business.
102 rooms of wich 12 “deluxe” in Villa Imperiale, 2 restaurants: Il Giardino with Veranda and the Imperialino by the lake, Bar della Regina, Pool Bar, Pool, Tennis, Golf facilities with due driving range and putting green 9 holes, gym, sauna, garage.

Grand Hotel Imperiale Resort & SPA The staff at the RECEPTION desk as well as the service staff in the breakfast dining room were all very kind, efficient, helpful and curteous. We were also impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms, and the positve way and attitude of every staff member that we met during our stay of 8 days. Highly commended - and we will definitely revisit this hotel again. We will highly recommend your fine hotel to all of our friends. The staff is to be highly congratulated.

The Hotel is only 7 km. from the centre of Como and is easy to reach:
- BY CAR: from the A9 motorway, 5 minutes from the Como Nord exit when coming from Milan and the Ticino canton, follow Cernobbio, go through Cernobbio and Villa D’Este, staying on the Vecchia Regina road (scenic route) for 1 km, and you reach Moltrasio.

BY LAKE: 15 minutes by ferry from Piazza Cavour. Moltrasio stop. The restaurant is next to the boat jetty.
