How to get there, flights, car rental

By carFlorence can be easily reached by car, being right by an important interconnection of roads, the A1 motorway (Milan-Naples), the A11 (Firenze Mare) and the freeway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno. In town you can leave your car in the car parking areas of Fortezza da Basso and of Santa Maria Novella railway station. Car traffic is restricted in several areas of Florence city centre.
