Ognissanti

Borgo Ognissanti is characterized by a long street in the west area of Florence, that from Piazza Goldoni reaches Prato di Ognissanti. This area owes the name from the scenic Church of Ognissanti, located in Piazza Ognissanti. Starting from Piazza Goldoni, in the first stretch of road, you will see the Evangelical Baptist Church, that took the place of the theatre of Accademia dei Solleciti, where for the first time in Italy, Shakespeare's Hamlet was put on stage. Borgo Ognissanti ends with one of the most important masterpieces of Art Nouveau, the Casa-Galleria Vichi designed by the architect Giovanni Michelazzi and completed in 1911.
