Home in Forence B&B is at 21, Santa Maria street on the first floor of a 17th century building located  in "Oltrarno Area" in the "Santo Spirito" district,  in the heart of historic center of Florence, just a few minutes stroll away from Florence’s main monuments (“Palazzo Pitti”, “Ponte Vecchio”, Uffizi Gallery, “Palazzo Vecchio”, “Piazza della Signoria”, “Loggia de’ Lanzi”, etc.), from shopping district (“Via della Vigna Nuova”, “Via Tornabuoni”, etc.) where you can find "Prada", "Armani", "Valentino", "Verasce", “Gucci”, “Roberto Cavalli”, and only 15 minutes walking from Florence’s main railway station  “ Santa Maria Novella".

Guests can awake to charming views of a typically tranquil Florentine street before starting their day.

All the rooms are equipped with all the comforts such as en suite private bathroom with shower, bidet, wc. (some rooms have also got a bath tub besides the shower), satellite TV, hairdryer, fridge (empty), safety box, free DSL LAN and WI-FI connection in the room.

Travel information

By Car: A1 Highway - Exit at "Firenze Certosa" and follow to "Via Senese" then to "Via del Gelsomino" and to "Piazzale di Porta Romana" following the road signs to "Via Romana": enter the historical centre passing below the arch of “Porta Romana”. Once in “Via Romana” the third street on the left is "Via Santa Maria" and the bed and breakfast is at the n° 21. You can park here just for load/unload  your baggage: for this purpose we need to know time of entrance into historical centre and your car plate number.

Walking from the Trainstation: It will take around 15 minutes to walk from the railway station. Exit on the right of the station walk "Via Santa Caterina da Siena" then turn left into "Via della Scala", walk onto "Piazza Santa Maria Novella" then turn right into "Via dei Fossi", at its end  cross the "Alla Carraia Bridge" and straight on into "Via dei Serragli" to "Via Santa Maria" (about 350 mts on the left from the riverside).

By Bus from the trainstation: On the right exit go downstairs then turn left walk straight on to the bus stop (50 mts). Routes  36, or 37; get off at "Via dei Serragli", (bus stop Serragli 3) after 50 meters  second on the left there it’s "Via Santa Maria”.If you prefer you can take a taxi (5 minutes)

By Plane: From the airport you can either to get a transfer previously arranged by us on your request or to get a cab or to catch the bus from the airport to the central railway station then change there for buses 36 or 37.
