Hotel Bolivar Triple room was no bigger than a regular double in most hotels, with a crappy little single bed stuffed in the corner. The room was swelteringly hot with no apparent way of cooling it other than opening the window, which was fine, but the rain got in a bit. When we took a look in the bathroom we found that two of the towels were stained, and one had a cluster of hairs stuck to it. The next day we went up for breakfast to the rooftop dining room. A great view of satellite dishes, Tv ariels and the tops of other houses. Breakfast was rubbish and the grumpy pixie that served was of little cheer. Stale bread rolls, over sweetened sugar glazed croissants, UHT milk, very sweet artificial orange drink, a very squeaky and droning toasting machine, and some apples that were starting to go rotten. Oh, and the magnificent scrambled egg that looked like it had been sat there for a couple of weeks.

Hotel Bolivar Staff were extremely helpful. Room was very attractive and the bathroom was clean with a full size bath. Breakfast room was very pleasant. Ideal for our needs.

Hotel Bolivar We had a very nice stay at Hotel Bolivar. The hotel was situated on a quiet little alley, yet it was very close to many wonderful historic Roman attractions. Because it was so hot, the COLD air conditioning which was regulated in each room was very appreciated. We had a quadruple room with our two children, and although it wasn't huge, it was ample. The bathroom was very nice and the big fluffy towels were great (not customary thoughout Italy). The breakfasts were definitely lacking. In a land of delicious cappuccino, the coffee was terrible, and the quality of the food was less than mediocre. Of course, we made up for it during lunch and dinner at fabulous restaurants throughout the city. The hotel staff was very welcoming and cordial. Don't ask them for restaurant opinions, as we were directed to real tourist traps. We had more luck just looking at menus, sticking our head in the doors, and sniffing the delicous aromas. We would definitely go back to Hotel Bolivar.

Hotel Bolivar Location is the only thing going for this hotel. Breakfast is awful, cold coffee and diluted orange, drab cereal and second rate meats adn cheese. Very disappointing.

Hotel Bolivar I letti erano molto scadenti sia come reti che come materassi (imbarcati). L'impianto di riscaldamento sul tetto era molto rumoroso e di notte non si riusciva a dormire, tanto da farci cambiare la stanza. Secondo il mio parere non è un hotel da 4 stelle.
