BY TRAIN:

by taxi: I'll catch a taxi and ask the taxidriver to bring me at Hotel Centrale in Piazzale Donatori di Sangue 14 in front of the Central Post Office.
by bus: I'll catch bus n° 2 at the Main Station exit. I'll drive all via Piave and I'll get off at the 1st bus-stop of via Circonvallazione. I'll go reward for 20 meters and I walk along via Carducci till STANDA. The Hotel is in front of the Mall.

BY CAR:

FROM MILANO A4: You'll pay the highway and you'll go forward direction Trieste. At about 2 kilometer you'll follow the indication for "Via Miranese". From here you'll not loose yourself following the indication for Hotel Centrale.
FROM TRIESTE/BELLUNO A4-A27: You'll pay the highway and you'll go forward direction Milan. You'll go forward on the free highway called "Tangenziale" for about 10 kilometers. At this point you'll see on the right a building called "Villa Salus". Take the 2nd exit "Via Miranese". From here you'll not loose yourself following the indication for Hotel Centrale.
FROM VENICE AIROPORT "Marco Polo": Exit from International Airport "Marco Polo" and turn right direction Milan A4. In about 8 kilometers you'll reach the Tangenziale of Mestre (a crossing point). Just follow indication MILAN A4. You'll go forward on the free highway called "Tangenziale" for about 10 kilometers. At this point you'll see on the right a building called "Villa Salus". Take the 2nd exit "Via Miranese". From here you'll not loose yourself following the indication for Hotel Centrale.

by taxi: the taxi fare depends from time of arrival and day of the week.

Hotel Centrale Was in Mestre for Venice Marathon but arrived after closure of race registration desk. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to collect the race pack on my behalf. Good central location and my family were able to watch the race from right outside. Basic accommodation but good value and location.

Hotel Centrale Old hotel in need of modernisation. We choose not to have breakfast here after paying for it as the reviews online were not good. The air con made noise all night but did not give out cold air. Thankfully are stay was for one night only in order to see Venice. The hotel insisted in keeping all four of our passports (2adults 2 kids) for a few hours, we don't understand why this was necessary as the hotel we stayed in the previous night just needed our passport for a few seconds.

Hotel Centrale Before we came there, we had not known that hotel doesnt have a parking place next to hotel and that we have to pay additionally for that service we considered included the price for hotel.

Hotel Centrale The rooms had a smell from humidity, it was difficult to open the windows, in one of the two rooms i had staied the mechanism of the window was broken. At night there was noise from people from nearby rooms. At the morning we had to wait for the breakfast because the restaurant had not enough tables for the residents of the hotel. The garage was in a distance of 500 metres away from the hotel.

Hotel Centrale Quite limited choice of breakfast assortiment. Airconditioning and (basic) accomodation however is excellent and comfortable bed(sheets). Shower cell in bathroom does not feel spacious enough (even a bit claustrophobic).

Hotel Centrale We were very happy with the staff at the hotel, but we do have a criticism of the online description. The description claims that the hotel is very close/convenient to the center of Mestre, particularly the train station. This was the reason we selected the hotel. It was quite a distance from the train station in reallity, and when carrying luggage the distance was important. otherwise, we were very happy with the hotel overall. The staff was very courteous and helpful, and particularly patient with some guests who were demanding and unreasonable one evening while we waited for our room key. They should certainly be commended.

Hotel Centrale I had a single room. It was small but clean. The staff was helpful in giving me information on where to park my car and how to get into Venice and return to the hotel by bus. The bus stop was right around the corner and ran regularly. My room was right above the reception desk so I heard everyone drag or roll their suitcase right by my door on their way downstairs. Also, the staff was dumping bottles into the trash very early in the morning. Overall, it suited my purposes-affordable, central, and clean. The breakfast was decent-rolls, cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs, and coffee and juice. Your typical European breakfast. The money I saved on the room allowed me to buy more in Venice--a magnificent city.

Hotel Centrale The only benefit to stay there is the perfect location.

Hotel Centrale Nothing is worth to spend money. It is dirty, staff is unpolite, service is very bad. It does not match with the 3 star quality.

Hotel Centrale Troppa confusione a colazione, grida, urla di bambini ospiti che correvano da una parte all'altra. Consiglio di dividere in compartimenti stagni le famiglie con i bambini chiassosi, per evitare che disturbino chi vuole fare colazione in santa pace! La stessa colazione definita "continentale" mi ha deluso molto e così anche il servizio scadente. Alla reception ho chiesto informazioni sui tickets (vaporetti e bus) per Venezia e in Venezia, hanno saputo darmi poche info a riguardo e non c'era molta disponibilità e gentilezza in generale.
