The Hotel has, in fact, sixteen gracious and exclusive rooms which offer, through their large 18th century windows, splendid peeks of antique Florence like that of the 13th century stone building, once the hospital of Bonifazio Lupi, in front of the Hotel, or the lovely renaissance Palazzo Pandolfini, and those beside it. The Hotel is also found only a short walk away from the Gallery Dell'Accademia, Museum of San Marco, the Cupola Brunelleschi and the Giotto Bell Tower. Internally, Florence Hotel Cimabue reveals attention and care to all details and particularities, highlighting its aim to make the clients' stay pleasurable and relaxing, offering, at the same time, spacious and charming environments.

One can choose a refined room with Liberty style frescoes from the early 1900's, or relax with a drink in one of the rooms with a private courtyard on the ground floor.

The delicious 16 rooms of the Hotel Cimabue live of their own originality. A distinctive characteristic is the personal touch given: the rooms are, in fact, each one different one from the other with individual style, from furnishings and materials, to space, responding to any aesthetic and functional need of the guest.

Available in 6 different typology, many of the rooms have decorated ceilings with representations of elegant rosettes, cornices, bronze vases, and floral and fruit motifs, a precious époque Art Nouveau flavour. One can also choose and relax with a drink in one of the rooms with a private garden on the ground floor. The quality of furnishings, principally of 18th century admirably restored furniture, and their harmonious combinations, the luminosity and space of the rooms, embrace the client in a friendly and relaxing environment, while the charm and refinement of materials and details are accompanied with attention aimed at functionality and comfort. All of the rooms include bathroom, safe, autonomous air conditioning, large wardrobes and desks.

Travel information

BY CAR: Approach the city center by following signs "viali di circonvallazione". Drive along the tree-lined avenues that are around the city center until you reach PIAZZA DELLA LIBERTA'. Turn on VIA CAVOUR, after 100 meters, turn right on via Venezia then go over the crossroad in Via San Gallo and turn left in Via Zara; go on for a few meters and our hotel is on the corner. Garage nearby Euro 24/30. Other garage 10 minutes walking distance Euro 15. 

FROM THE TRAIN STATION: The Classic The hotel is not far from the train station. If you don't have heavy luggage, it's 15 minutes walking distance going along Via Nazionale, Piazza Indipendenza, Via XXVII Aprile, Via Santa Reparata, Via Bonifacio Lupi. You can also take one of following buses : 1 - 7 - 10 - 17 - 25 getting off in PIAZZA SAN MARCO. Buy bus tickets at the newspaper shop inside the train station.
