Our hotel is situated in a central position, in the middle of the old city, near the harbour, where it is possible to take ships to Sardinia, Corsica and to the smaller islands. Our new management offers its guests a warm and pleasant family atmosphere. We are near the typical restaurants of Livorno. It is possible to go on a trip or to visit the neighbouring cities of art. At our guests' disposal, there is also a special meeting room, provided with blackboard, slide projector, overhead projector, TV, VCR and telephone.

The hotel doesn't feature a lift.

The hotel has 20 rooms equipped with every comfort.

We can offer you our breakfast direct in your room (without any surcharge for room-service) or in the special room, where you can enjoy a rich buffet with warm and cold drinks, fruit juices, croissants, rusks, bread, biscuits, different kind of jams, nutella, honey, butter, cornflakes, muesli, puffed rice.

From the 01st of July we will charge 12.00 euro for small size pets and 15.00 euro for those of medium size.

Travel information

By car: from all direction you come, follows always the signs Livorno Centro. From highway A12 and from S.G.C. FI-PI-LI exit "Livorno Centro" follow. For the City Center; when you arrive in Piazza Repubblica, follows for Municipio and from Piazza Municipio signs for Hotel Città.

By train: at the railway station "Livorno Centrale" take: bus number 1, stop in Piazza Grande (the hotel is 200 m far away, direction Piazza Cavour) or bus number 2 stop in Via Cairoli (the hotel is 100 m far away).

Hotel Citta' Good location, at short walking distance from the harbour. Rooms are well equipped and clean. We were warmly greeted by the staff. We strongly recommend thhis hotel.

Hotel Citta' I'm sorry to say that Italian hotels are in average overpriced! For 95 a night you get better hotels everywhere in Europe. This has been the problem with Italian hotels already for ages. We had to pay 13 for the garage with the hotel which also is very much overpriced. Next time we take the ferry to Corsica from Livorno we will stay overnight on the ship. The owner of the hotel was very friendly!!

Hotel Citta' Wir waren in diesen Fahrradferien in 10 Tagen in 10 Hotels. Beim Citta war das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis am schlechtesten. die Qualität ist ok für ein 3-Stern-Hotel, aber der Preis ist zu hoch. Vor allem hat uns gestört, dass pro Fahrrad €5 Einstellgebür verlangt wurden.
