A 10 minute drive from the centre of Assisi, Hotel Dal Moro Gallery, is one of the first design hotels in Umbria. Located opposite the famous Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, it is ideal for visiting the museums and monuments of the city of San Francisco
Boasting a familiar atmosphere, this hotel offers many amenities to make your stay in Assisi truly unforgettable. There is a large garage, two terraces and a pool. In the small library on site you will admire precious volumes dedicated to art and culture of the region.
Ideal for a business trip, it has an internet point, wireless Internet access and a meeting room that can accommodate up to 40 people with sound system, microphones and video equipment.
The rooms, available in the types Art Design, Comfort and Simple, are soundproofed and air conditioned, featuring wooden floors or Moquet and private bathrooms furnished with care. Some also feature a whirlpool bathtub or shower and Finnish sauna.
The spacious restaurant, featuring two bright dining rooms, can accommodate up to 220 people. Enjoy a great breakfast with biscuits and homemade cakes. The wine shop has a range of over 100 wines, the sommelier Francesco Marchetti will advise you according to your culinary choices. Do not miss also the wine bar, to sip a drink while listening to live music played on the piano.
Travel information
Arriving from Florence via the A1: exit Valdichiana. Take the slip road Perugia-Bettolle and continue towards Assisi, then exit at Assisi-S.Maria degli Angeli.
Arriving from Rome via the E45 Terni-Cesena: at Ponte S.Giovanni take the slip road for Assisi-Foligno. Exit at Assisi-S.Maria degli Angeli.
Arriving from Rome via the A1: exit at Orte. Take the slip road Orte-Terni-Perugia. Arrived in Perugia, continue towards Assisi, then exit at Assisi-Santa Maria degli Angeli.

Hotel Dal Moro Gallery Great hotel for those who want to explore Assisi. Rooms are spacious (european standards) and clean. Having onsite parking is definitely a convenience. A nicely prepared buffet breakfast is included in the price, and the staff serving is outstanding. Even though it's not located inside the town of Assisi, I definitely recommend it.
Hotel Dal Moro Gallery Please note that the hotel is NOT specifically in the town of Assisi. It is located in the town of S.Maria degli Angeli, from which you can see Assisi 3 km away. This distance may be an inconvenience for some, which I agree. If you want to be in the "center of it all" in Assisi, pick a hotel that's "inside" Assisi.

Hotel Dal Moro Gallery This hotel should be rated 2 stars not 4, the staff is not friendly at all, we had a problem with the bathroom faucet and they charged us $50 Euros because they claimed we had broken the faucet in the shower, it is my understanding that a hotel must maintain their facilities, customers pay a daily rate and should not be charged for poorly maintained rooms.

Hotel Dal Moro Gallery A ns. parere l'hotel è adeguato alla categoria (4 stelle) solamente per quanto riguarda la pulizia delle camere. La struttura necessiterebbe sicuramente di una manutenzione soprattutto per quanto rigurada le camere che, tra l'altro, sono abbastanza piccole. Il parcheggio dell'hotel descritto come "ampio", in realtà accoglie poco più della metà degli ospiti. La conseguenza è stata che, primo giorno a parte, abbiamo dovuto parcheggiare sempre fuori dall'hotel. I lati positivi sono stati l'ubicazione (vicino alla superstrada e non lontano dal centro storico di Assisi)e la colazione (discreta scelta e buona qualità).

Hotel Dal Moro Gallery Ce qui est dommage s'est que l'hôtel n'étais pas à assise même, lors de la réservation se n'étais pas trés bien indiqué et la situation géographique fait que c'étais un peu bruyant.
