The Hotel Delfino is a modern and elegant hotel, where you will receive a warm welcome and a very professional service. The hotel has a Bar, a Restaurant and a conference room.

The Hotel Delfino is located in a lively street in the historical city centre of Mestre. It is at only 300 meters from the central railway station and it is near the bus stops to get to Venice (10 minutes journey).

In the Foyer there is an information point, where you can book your guided excursions, and a reception which is opened 24 hours.

The Hotel has a restaurant, a bar, a TV room and a well equipped conference room that can host up to 40 people.

The Hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport, a car park, free WI-FI internet connection.

The Hotel Delfino has 126 comfortable rooms elegantly decorated. They are all equipped with Satellite TV, DVD player, telephone, mini-bar and air conditioning.

American breakfast is served from 07.00 am to 10.00 am.

Travel information

BY PLANE: From the airport Marco Polo of Tessera-Venice, you will arrive in twenty minutes at the Mestre train station. Take line 15 of the Actv bus or the Atvo shuttle ferry, then continue as described below. Taxi service is available.

BY TRAIN: Go down to the Venice Mestre station, and turning your back to the entrance of the station head right for 100m, turn left, walking about 300m, turn to via Gozzi and follow it to the traffic light; the Hotel Delfino will be visible on the left. Taxi service is available.

BY CAR: Leaving the Venice Mestre toll-booth, keep right in the direction of Interporto-Venice SS11; at the roundabout take the third exit in the direction of Mestre/Zona Industriale/Venice; continue approximately 3km and you will reach an overpass with a traffic light; turn left, and after 700m you will reach Hotel Delfino.

Hotel Delfino When we arrived we discovered our room was a twin when we specifically requested a double bed room. We had to spend a very uncomfortable night because the beds were separated. On top of it all, they called us 15 min after the check out time to remind us we had to leave and when we arrived downstairs to do the check out we had to wait over 30 minutes because there was a huge line. The price is very good for the hotel, breakfast is very good, facilities are wonderful and so is the location but a little more of organization would go great ways.

Hotel Delfino Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel with is currently being significantly upgraded and refurbished. Good value meals and the bus into the heart of Venice is directly opposite the hotel - it runs every 10 minutes and is a 6 minute run. We parked the car underneath for 10 euro per day. Mestre is not all that attractive, but there are some great little resturants tucked away and we had some great meals.

Hotel Delfino Great hotel, wonderful spot - we caught a quick bus ride to and from Venice. Staff could have been friendlier and more helpful - for info we aked some locals on the street. Overall I found that the service in Italy is lacking - they are all complaining at the lack of jobs - but everywhere we went we felt like we were disturbing them when we requested service - esp at restaurants and especially in Rome and Florence.

Hotel Delfino La fermata del bus che porta a Venezia si trova a due passi dall'hotel. Buoni i servizi e l'accoglienza calorosa. Camere pulitissime e silenziose. Ottimo soggiorno.
