The Di Stefano’s family has founded and has been managing the Hotel since 1969, always with a focus on offering their guests quality, friendliness, warmth and services suitable for every type of stay, for professional people travelling for work, families with children on holidays, etc.

The hotel, surrounded by magnificent monuments and ancient winding streets, is located in an especially tranquil and quiet area: only a few steps from the Piazza dei Miracoli (300 m.), close to the Piazza Dei Cavalieri (Scuola Normale) and near the main shopping street of Pisa.

The hotel offers the following services: alarmed garage, shuttle service to and from the Railway Station and the International Airport.

Free wireless internet connection of the whole hotel.

Those who travel with their pets and those who travel by bicycle are also welcome.

There is a meeting room at the ground floor of the main building which can host up to 20 people, the room is lit by three windows that overlook a well kept garden. The room has Internet connection and the possibility to connect a projector.

Room information

The hotel is made of two buildings.

The main building has 25 standard rooms which are furnished in a sober way and with pleasant colours. This type of rooms offer the following comforts: bathroom with toilet, bidet, shower and hairdryer, airconditioning, satellite TV with hundreds of international channels, telephone with a direct line, fridge-bar.

The second building, recently renovated, is an ex Casa-Torre (House-Tower, typical medieval Pisan building) dated back to 1045 A.D. During the renovation the aim has been that of keeping its characteristic aspects as much as possible, such as the original wall stones in sight and wooden beams ceilings. There are 10 deluxe rooms here, which are larger than the standard ones and are furbished with forniture in line with the building’s style. Some of them, besides the same comforts as the standard rooms, have bathroom for desabled persons or Iacuzzi baths.

The reception personnel will be pleased to suggest restaurants where it is possible to taste typical meals of the Tuscan and Pisan tradition.

About the property We thought there would be complementary transport on saturday am to airport, however the hotel booked us a taxi which we paid for. This was no problem to us but perhaps it should be made clear if you have to pre- book complementary transport to airport/rail station. The recommended restaurant was excellent and much appreciated

About the property My family ended up in the top floor (attic type room) which was very warm, the air con unit did not function. On the plus side the top floor room did offer us a good view of the leaning tower in the morning.
