Travel information

If you use the car, whatever your origin, once you reach the GRA (GRA = city-ring surrounding the town) follow the signs to Rome centro. Any exit to take, reach the city centre and continue to reach the Termini central Station. Once reaching the station, via Turati be easy to reach being parallel to the station.

Guest Coming from the airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino have to reach the Termini Station (used bus or train). Once the Termini Station just turn right by Gioberti and take the first left, via Turati, and go for a few hundred metres. We arrived at Hotel Filippo Roma between Termini station and the famous Teatro Ambra Jovinelli.

Hotel Filippo Roma I liked the breakfast location, good quality pastries and coffee. The hotel location was also convenient, very close to the Termini station especially the Fiumicino platform, yet walking distance from the Colosseum. The hotel was usually very quiet, except for one very noisy guest on our last night.

Hotel Filippo Roma The a/c unit in one of our rooms didn't work, and cool air did not really flow well from the other room. Also the floor under the shower feels like it may have rot or moisture. One day our breakfast voucher was not there, but this was corrected promptly when we called the staff.

Hotel Filippo Roma I stayed at Filippo Roma for 4 nights with my wife in September 2010. Our stay was very comfortable. The room was very clean and seemed to have been refurbished recently. The breakfast at a cafe nearby was adequate, and the complimentary water was an added benefit. The staff was courteous. The best thing about the hotel is its proximity to the Termini, which makes getting to most tourist points very easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thanks, Manvendra Khati India

Hotel Filippo Roma Centrally located near the termini central station and an easy walk from the major sights in Rome. Rooms were fully equipped, with a very comfortable bed. Staff were really helpful.

Hotel Filippo Roma the only bad thing about this hotel was the "breakfast" offered in a nearby cafe'. we had to take our coffee and a small croissant standing, there was nowhere to sit and the place was quite crowded...we didn't even try to have breakfast the second day. other than that (and a tv with no signal), it was nice, quiet, the rooms were okay and the receptionist very helpful.

Hotel Filippo Roma The room was excellent: simple, very clean and modern, with a nice, firm bed. Mostly quiet for being so centrally located. Plenty of hot water. The manager was kind and plenty helpful. It did not seem that the hotel had any extra services to offer (beyond the room itself). Breakfast was simple and delicious, at a cafe just two blocks away at Termini Station.

Hotel Filippo Roma The Hotel is a good place to stay and easily accessible from the metro and termini. The staff was very good with the support and care. I would stay there again while in Rome. The only issue was with the vendor they deal with for breakfast- MILKY WAY. They were very rude and non courtious --took the breakfast coupon and never gave us break fast. I eventually paid for the breakfast and left. Informed hotel staff about the accident. I guess they should consider changing this vendor with someone good like them.

Hotel Filippo Roma We were very pleased with the cleanliness and appearance of the room, which is belied by the unattractive exterior of the building. It seemed a little daunting to have to access by ringing the bell from the street, but Sabrina at reception was most kind and efficient. She recognized us immediately and gave all kinds of help and suggestions. The room was modern and spotless and we appreciated the comfortable mattress. Guests should be made aware on the website that breakfast is at a stand-up bar a block away, and not in the hotel itself.

Hotel Filippo Roma La zona donde está ubicado no tiene muy buena pinta, pero no tuvimos ningún problema. En el hotel, todo bien. El trato fue muy bueno, la recepcionista encantadora y amable. Las habitaciones limpias y cambiaban toallas todos los días. Lo peor quizás, el desayuno. Era en una cafetería cerca del hotel, pero hay que tomarlo de pie. Por cierto el capuccino muy rico.

Hotel Filippo Roma Wir fanden ein sauber gepflegtes Zimmer vor. Sehr großzügig und hell. Auch das Badehimmer war bis auf die Dusche (Schimmel in den Ecken) sehr ordentlich. Die Leitung des Hotels war äußerst entgegenkommend, was den Abreisetermin anbelangt (wir durften bis 13.00 Uhr bleiben). Das Frühstück wird in einer Bar auf der anderen Straßenseite stehend eingenommen (ein Getränk und eine Backware, empfehlenswert der Kaffee).

Hotel Filippo Roma wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht, leider konnte uns nur 1 Zimmer in diesem Haus gegeben werden, das andere Zimmer war ca. 100 Meter entfernt, aber in der gleichen Ausstattung. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr freuhjdlich und hilfsbereit und hat den Kontakt zum anderen Zimmer hergestellt (telefonisch) Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Gegend leider nicht so ansprechend.
