7.5
Hotel Halifax We arrived late and we were tired, so we did not spend much time at the hotel, as it was a short business stay. Overall, all of us, had no complaints.
8.0
Hotel Halifax Easy to walk to the main attractions. Simple hotel, no frills.
7.6
Hotel Halifax Not bad at all, for the price we paid. Good location to visit Rome.
7.9
Hotel Halifax It is a good low budget hotel. We are more than happy with our stay here and we would book it again.
7.2
Hotel Halifax The Halifax is a budget hotel. Clean and cheap. I would come back.
8.2
Hotel Halifax The hotel is two minutes walk from Roma Termini, which was really convenient. The rooms were a pretty good size, all staff that my partner and I dealt with were very helpful and friendly. An added bonus is the laundromat approx 50-100mtrs from the hotel. The restaurants in the street are also very reasonably priced and the food was very good. I would definitely recommend the Halifax to anyone, we will be staying there when we get back to Rome.
8.5
Hotel Halifax I was in Rome to visit some friends, they live near the Halifax therefore..recommend by them. I had a lovely stay, even though i only slept there..Thank you.
7.5
Hotel Halifax Located near the metro station and within walking distance from the main attractions. Basic but clean rooms.
8.0

4.6
Hotel Halifax Bad hotel to stay, you will get good hotels with less price
7.6
Hotel Halifax It is situated at short distance from the station. It's ok, don't expect luxury, but for the price we paid, we are more than satisfied and we would not hesitate to return here.
4.6
Hotel Halifax This is one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed at. No lobby. Access to your room is difficult. The hotel is filthy, dark and dirty.. Not enough light in the room to read. The toilet leaked all night. You can hear water running through pipes in the wall. Outside noise is so bad you have to keep the window closed. No drinking cups provided. No bathmat.
4.9
Hotel Halifax single room is small. clean though. plus clean towel daily (sheets changed less often).. very old buiding near train station, not the best part of rome but cheaper than elsewhere. too early in the year for them to want to turn on the aircon, which means keeping the window open when you are in the room. as a lot of the rooms open into a central courtyard about five or six storeys high this amplifies any noise at night, also lots of interesting smells wafting in from kitchen areas of restaurants below. breakfast is offered a couple of doors down the street, small eating area but adequate. choice of cereals, fruit juice, toast, croissants, yoghurt plus coffee or tea. a bit basic but good if on a tight budget.
9.5
Hotel Halifax Good for the price and location. My single room was small but perfectly adequate, clean, and comfy. The room was actually in the Mirage next door, and was on first floor so didn't have to lug bags up four flights like other reviewers did. Staff were friendly and professional. The hotel is directly across the street from Termini, less than one minute walk. I'll stay there again when I return.
4.5
Hotel Halifax The rooms are very small and the window of the room I was in opens onto the backyard of a kebab shop kitchen and all the smell of the cooking oil is spewing into the room 24hrs. Besides one wouldnt have to open windows if the air conditioning worked, however this was not the case. The was an air con unit but it was not functioning. It was a very hot little romm with only access to air being the window, but then one had to guzzle all the humid cooking oil smell from the kitchens below. The veiw was nothing but sewage pipes from unkept walls on teh backyard. Room 104 at Halifax is really not worth satying in for the current fee, EURO 65.
6.4
Hotel Halifax The hotel rooms are located in a separate building to the Reception and Breakfast room - this was an inconvenience. There is no lift so dragging luggage up 3 dark dirty flights of stairs is no fun. However, the room and bath was a good size and the bed was fine.
8.0
Hotel Halifax An adequate, small single room with good air conditioning. Security good. Location excellent with regards to station access, but if I had realized that it was on the third floor with no elevator I might have gone elsewhere as I was in transit with two heavy suitcases. As others comment, go to the Mirage hotel two doors west to check in as there is no manned reception desk in the Halifax. Breakfast is extra (but no bother as I had to leave early anyway). Overall a good value.
5.4
Hotel Halifax The hotel is locate in an unsafe area, so it is quite dangerous to come back alone. The area is also really noisy at night. I think that the hotel is too expensive in comparison with services offered.
9.2
Hotel Halifax The location was extremely convenient to the Station. Although the room was small, it was well-kept and maintained. The continental breakfast was adequate. There was access to the internet in the lobby which was limited to 30 min. The staff were great and very helpful. I felt secure with the monitoring system and limited access. I would use the hotel again or recommend it to others when looking for a reasonable hotel close to the train station. As a note, we actually stayed in the Hotel Mirage which was adjacent to the Hotel Halifax but the two are treated as one hotel. This was a bit confusing when trying to locate the Hotel Halifax.
