Hotel Helvetia Grado
The Hotel Helvetia is located in the "Città Giardino" district of Grado, a quiet zone only 700 metres from the historical old town of Grado and 100 metres from the beach, the thermal spas and the congress palace.
American bar, elevator, satellite TV room, sun terrace, garden, rental of bicycles and private parking are the other services of Hotel Helvetia.
The 36 rooms are equipped with balcony, bathroom, shower, telephone, TV, heating and air conditioning. The rooms are accessible also by handicapped people.
The restaurant offers typically local and International dishes, upon request also dietetic ones, prepared personally by the owners. In the morning a rich buffet breakfast is offered and at lunch and dinner salad buffet and choice of menus.
Travel information
Highway exit Palmanova, than follow the signs to Grado. At the entrance to Grado always go straight ahead (not in direction to the centre) following the lagoon on the left side and the houses at the right side. Then follow the signs to the hotel.

Hotel Helvetia Rooms were very basic but clean. Food was quiet good, but nothing great. Friendly staff.

Hotel Helvetia Die schlechte Personalnote betrifft nur das Frühstück, das restl. Personal war super. Das Frühstück war wahnsinn: kein Obst, ewige Wartezeiten, unfreundliches Personal, Tische nicht gereinigt, keine Teller, Besteck vorhanden etcetc. Nach einer halben Std. Wartezeit habe ich ein "weiches Ei" ROH bekommen. Der Komfort ist schlicht, aber sauber; das Hotel ist für das was geboten wird, insgesamt viel zu teuer.

Hotel Helvetia das Hotel ist leider in einem sehr alten Zustand. längst fällige Inverstitionen sind nicht gemacht worden. Das Personal und die Leitung sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend!!! Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Schade, Wäre das Badezimmer in einem besseren Zustand würde ich gerne wieder buchen.

Hotel Helvetia Frühstückstische waren nicht abgeräumt. Sets schmutzig, Brösel vom Vorgänger am Tisch. Frühstückbuffet sehr mangelhaft. Saftmaschine funktionierte nie. Eine Stunde vor Ende des Frühtstücks kein Brot mehr am Buffet.
