Indeed, just a few miles from Cala Gonone, there is a plethora of fascinating archaeological sites, including Nuraghe Mannu, the Nuragic villages of Serra Orrios and Tiscali and the tomb of the Giants of Thomes, amongst many others. All of these sites are easy to reach thanks to the youth co-operatives that organise guided tours both on land and by sea.

From here daily boat trips lead toward the Bue Marino Caves and the fantastic beaches of the Gulf of Orosei.
