The Hotel il Principe is an elegant 4 star hotel, located in the baroque area of Catania, only 1,5 km from the central station and a few minutes from Catania Fontanarossa Airport.
One of the most important Catania hotels occupies a recently restored aristocratic building, located on Scalinata Alessi steps, set between Via Etnea Street and Via Crociferi Street. We are in the baroque heart of the historical centre of Catania, providing outstanding testimony to Sicilian architecture and declared by UNESCO Patrimony of Humanity.
The Principe Hotel feautures various types of rooms, suitable to the most demanding customer. The luxurious suites feature king size beds, a bathroom with Jacuzzi, 32 "LCD TV with sky channels, free wi-fi access, mini bar, safe, hairdryer and individual climate control.

By Bus: bus Alibus number 457, Via Sangiuliano/Via Etnea Stop and follow our road signs. The distance from the bus stop is 50 meters only.
By Taxi: 10 minutes (distance km 5) - price per way from 20 to 30 euro.
By Car: follow the road signs "Catania Centro" (Centre of Catania). When you arrive at the centre of Catania follow our road signs situated in every corner of the city.
From the Highway A18 Catania-Messina
First Exit "Catania centro", go all over Mediterraneo Street, Vincenzo Giuffrida street and Monsignor Ventimiglia Street. Turn right on Sangiuliano Street and left after Etnea Street. Going all over Manzoni Street you'll find IL PRINCIPE HOTEL CATANIA situated at 24, Alessi street.

Hotel Il Principe The hotel was fabulous. Small, intimate and centrally located. The only drawback was the functionality of the bathroom - beatiful tile, spotless, lots of space, great jacuzzi tubs, but showering with a hand-held is always challenging.

Hotel Il Principe Arrivo a notte inoltrata. Reception aperta e totalemente funzionante. Mi viene parcheggiata la vettura a cura dell'hotel emi viene riconsegnata la mattina senza alcun onere. Colazione su richiesta in camera pefetta. Gentilezza, puntualità, precisone, professionalità.
