Property information

Situated in the north of Erice, inside a park of around 2 hectares, this holiday village stands within the ancient Elymian-Punic walls of the town and boasts striking views of the Thyrrenian Coast.

The Hotel, built in the mid-century, was renovated in 2006. Conceived as a little village, it is constituted by a central building (the heart of the Hotel) where there are: reception, restaurant, bar, reading room, TV room and a wide panoramic terrace; the rooms are constituted by cottages scattered in the pine forest. All the buildings are realized in local stone, as the typical medieval style of Erice.

The 23 cottages, scattered in the pine forest, have a private terrace and are equipped with every kind of comfort: air-conditioning, heating, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, minibar… The furnishings, in typical mediterranean style, is warm and welcoming.

Food & Beverage

The Hotel has a restaurant service oriented to propose to the guests the typical local and Sicilian dishes. Foreign people can also find some of the most important Italian dishes listed on the menu. There are 2 restaurants: one indoor and the other one outdoor, in the panoramic terrace.

Area information

Erice is located on S. Giuliano mountain at 751 mt. on the sea-level. It is a medieval town of exceptional charm with its buildings in stone, the Punic Walls an the Gates of the town, the stoned paved streets. The most important monuments are: the Cathedral with the Bell Tower, the Castle of Venus, the Towers in the “Balio” Garden, the Municipal Building with the Museum “Cordici”. Moreover, Erice is in the middle of an interesting area for naturalistic, gastronomic and cultural excursions: Trapani 10 km, Marsala 25 km, Segesta 20 km, San Vito Lo Capo 35 km, Natural Reserve of Zingaro 35 km, Selinunte 75 km, Mothia 25 km, boarding for Egadi Islands 10 km.

Travel information

By plane: Trapani “V. Florio” Airport (20 km) and Palermo “Falcone-Borsellino” Airport (75 km). On request, it is possible to reserve a transfer from the airport to the Hotel.

By train: Trapani Railway Station (10 km). From Trapani it is possible to reach Erice by bus, taxi or cableway.

By boat: Trapani Port (10 Km) or Palermo Port (100 km). From Trapani it is possible to reach Erice by bus, taxi or cableway.

By car:

• from Messina follow the freeway Autostrada A20 (250 km)
• from Catania follow the freeway Autostrada A19 (200 km). Then, got to Palermo, follow the freeway Autostrada A29 towards Trapani, at the end of the freeway, in Trapani, turn right and follow the signs for Erice.
