Since the 2nd half of the 1800 "LA PISTA" has been a historical associated with the surrounding stables e race-trachs. In fact the majority of "LA PISTA'S" clients were and still are jockeys and horse-riders and country lovers in general.
In the past "LA PISTA" has offered hospitality to important officers in time of the military in the surrounding woods e countryside.

About the property As a one night before the flight it was ok. Morning started as early as the morning flights at Malpensa, i.e. the noice from the airplanes was load. Rooms were not particularly comfortable, but ok for one night.

About Traveleurope As I was out of internet reach the telephone service was my choice. It worked fine, except getting the letters (spelling) correct was a challenge.... but at the end it worked out fine.

About the property Internet connection was awful, no shops around, the shuttle to airport was late 30 minutes. Anyway the staff was polite.

About the property Friendly hotel short drive from Malpensa Airport. Slightly misleading information about the 24 hour 'shuttle bus' to and from the airport - it's not a steady service which appears at a given bus stop. You have to call the hotel on arrival and it will take them 15 minutes to get to you, so don't waste your time wandering around the Airport trying to find the "La Pista Shuttle Bus" because it doesn't exist. Otherwise the service is friendly and exactly what you need for an overnight stop near the airport - convenient, close by and simple.

About the property I confirmed by phone that they would pick me up at the train station, then they refused after I got there, cost 15 Euros for a taxi. Room very noisy and the smallest shower I have ever seen in my life, about 24" x 24", shower curtain stuck to me the whole time. They promised me a wakeup call - no call! They said the shuttle left for the airport at 6:00 AM, fortunatly I was at the desk early, as it left at 5:50. The room was clean.

About the property Hotell facility was quite antiquated. Location, though close to the airport, was very isolated. The room was clean but poorly appointed. for the money would have anticipated more comfort and amenities.

About the property This is a wonderful choice for people laying over briefly at Malpensa airport in Milan. Their van service worked very efficiently, at 5:00 AM.

About the property I selected this hotel based upon other reviews. The only reason that I stayed there was to be close to the Malpensa airport and not deal with the anxiety of getting to the airport in the morning. I suspect that most of the guests were there for the same reason. There is NOTHING to do or see in the town other than eat, drink, and walk around. The hotel was basic, but clean. The plumbing could use some work as the toilet continued to run and the shower water won't stay in the drain pan. However, the staff was lovely. The evening meal was decent. The shuttle to the airport was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to catch a plane.
