The Mastino hotel is located in the center of Verona, the most important historical city in the Veneto region, second only to Venice. And it is precisely this that makes Verona ideal to wander around leisurely on foot. The Mastino hotel is located just outside the point where the pedestrian only area begins, so you can drive straight to the hotel without any problem and then simply walk right into the center of town. Verona itself, being located in the center of the northern region of Italy, can be easily reached no matter how you chose to travel. The Valerio Catullo airport is nearby and it is also along the main motorways and train lines.

Travel information

By car: to reach the Mastino hotelby car, take the Verona Sud motorway exit and follow the directions to the center. Go straight ahead and just as you are approaching the square Piazza Bra – where the Roman amphitheater 'Arena di Verona', home to world famous opera performances, is located – the hotel will be on your left. The hotel makes parking in the center easy by offering its guests spacious private garages to park their cars.
By train: if you are coming by train, the Porta Nuova train station is less than 1 km from the hotel. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station (follow the bike path that starts from the exit on the right side of the station). Or from the station you can catch the bus that stops at sidewalk “A”; it goes to the center and makes only two stops along the way. There is also an efficient taxi service that will bring you directly to the hotel in less than 5 minutes.

By plane: if you are coming by plane, the Valerio Catullo di Villafranca airport is located 11 km from the city – you can take the shuttle bus ('Aero-bus', cost 4,50 €, passes every 20 min.) from the airport to the Porta Nuova station. From there, use one of the methods of transport mentioned above.
