The Hotel Pallacavicchi is the ideal place for meetings, conferences and seminars. It is located near Ciampino Airport, whereas the hilly area of Castelli Romani, the archaeological park of Appia Antica and the city centre are at about 20 minutes from the Hotel.

The Hotel Pallacavicchi is located few metres from the Appia nuova road, and at about 20 minutes from the historical city centre, the Castelli Romani area and the archaeological park of Appia Antica.

It is easy to reach thanks to its vicinity to the major highway junctions, the underground station of Anagnina, the railway station and Ciampino Airport. Shuttle service available on request for the stated locations.

Travel information

By car

  • Coming from Florence (A1) exit at Roma Nord. On arrival at Rome stay on the G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare = Rome ring) towards Ciampino and exit at  23 - Appia. After the exit turn left direction Albano, go ahead for about 400 m and turn right in a small tunnel towards Ciampino Centro. After 400 m you will find our hotel on your right side with a panel indicating Alta Quota Residence.
  • Coming from Naples (A1) exit at Roma Sud. On arrival at Rome stay on the G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare = Rome ring) towards Ciampino and exit at  23 - Appia. By train

From Roma Termini railway station catch one of the following trains to Roman Castles (Frascati, Albano, Velletri) or to Cassino and get off at Ciampino station. From the station the hotel is reachable by taxi, by bus line to Ciampino airport (stop Acqua Appia) or call the hotel for shuttle service. At the entrance you will find a panel indicating Alta Quota Residence.

By plane

From Ciampino airport main entrance turn right, then keep going straight ahead and turn right towards Ciampino Centro. After 300 m you will find our hotel on your right side with a panel indicating Alta Quota Residence. From the airport the hotel is reachable by taxi, by bus (stop Acqua Appia) or call the hotel for shuttle service.

About the property This hotel is nice, the rooms, the staff, but it has a big problem is not near Roma. The transport to Roma is complicated. We have to change the hotel because it was difficult return to the hotel. If you have to go a Ciampino it´s a nice idea, but if you go to know Roma, it´s better take a hotel located in Roma directly.

They were kind not to charge me for the kid which is 12 y.o. Good deal!

About the property We were lost of looking where the hotel's location. It should have gotten more sign especially from the road side. There's no big sign of the hotel's name, so we went beyond the location.

About the property I was happy to find it and will return. Room was over all clean. Breakfast and breakfast room are very nice. Shuttle to the airport works great. Gentlemen at the reception (night arrival) was very rude. Bathroom trash was not emptied.

About the property The description of the hotel on Travel Europe website was fairly accurate. It is a hotel with no frills but very clean, staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The restaurant is very good, great menu, food well presented, good size portions and very good quality at a reasonable price. Location of the hotel is good, very close to Ciampino Airport, and also easy to get to Rome city centre. Local bus stops outside the hotel to Ciampino rail station, (5 min) 1.10 Euro each way, about every 20 minutes, train to Rome rail termini, 1.00 Euro. 15 min) trains every 30 minutes. The hotel cost me 50 Euro a night through travel Europe, so it was a great price for a decent hotel.

About the property This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay before travelling on from the Airport, which is serviced by the hotel shuttle bus. The room was clean and comfortable, with minimun disruption from plane noise. The restaurant was very good, having a wood fired pizza oven. I'd recomend this hotel and would definitely use it again if travelling via the adjacent airport.
