Hotel Parco San Marco is situated directly on the beautiful lake Lugano in Italy in a vast subtropical park of 30'000 m2 accommodating Villas, Suites, and Apartments with breathtaking lake views. A unique holiday in family-friendly surroundings.

The studios (30 sqm) are modern and light, together with a large bedroom dispose of an equipped kitchenette, a small table and 2 chairs, bathroom with shower, satellite TV, safe and a south facing balcony with lake view.

The 2-room-suites (45 sqm) are modern and light, have a sitting-room with an integrated kitchenette, a small table to sit and a convertible sofa (double-bed), one separate bedroom, bathroom with shower, satellite TV, safe and a south facing balcony or sitting area with lake view. Some 2-room-suites can be booked with large terrace or even with fireplace for a small additional fee. Furthermore we offer three 2-room-suites suitable for wheelchair access.

The 3-room-suites (58 sqm) are modern and light, have a itting-room with an integrated kitchenette, a small table to sit and a convertible sofa (double-bed), 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, satellite TV, safe and a south facing terrace with lake view.

The new renovated 3-Room-Attico Monte Generoso and Bellavista on the upper level of the 200 year old stone house "Gardenia" are situated right beside the Relax Pool. They are modern and provide on the ground floor a living room with a convertible double sofa-bed, a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, telephone with direct line and a bedroom with bathroom (shower); with an open staircase you reach the 1st floor where there is an additional bedroom with bathroom (bath). They are also two balconies facing south with lake view. The ground floor of the 3-Room-Attico have a surface of approx. 50 m², as to the upper floors vary between 25 and 35 m².

The gastronic offer is large and should content the finest gourmets of southern cuisine. A rich breakfast buffet, light lunches and for the evening a large choice of fish or meat, mediterranean food, all this is proposed in the Ristorante San Marco and in the Bistro San Marco, the winter garden.

In our Grottino, you can taste some north-italian specialities, Polenta for example, cooked on wood fire.

After a nice day, get together around the Hotel Bar for a relaxing evening begin. Celebrate the nice holidays with a glass of Prosecco or with an original cocktail.

During the nice warm summer days, you can also enjoy the Fun Pool Corner, where you may order small snacks and refreshing drinks.

Take advantage, like George Clooney, of playing on one of Europe's most beautiful golf courses in Menaggio on lake Como, or go on of one of the several excursions to Switzerland, for example to the Verzasca or Maggia Valleys in the upper Tessin and to the other northern Italian lakes.

Travel information

From the north: through the St. Gotthard or the San Bernardino tunnels, highway to Lugano-Nord, through Lugano center direction Gandria-St. Moritz (along the lake). In Gandria cross the border and enter into Italy. Approx. 14 km after Lugano center, approx. 500 m after Cima di Porlezza and 2 km before Porlezza, you will find the HOTEL Parco San Marco Beach Resort & SPA / RESIDENZA San Marco.

From the south:

• from Milan take the highway "Dei Laghi" until Como-Nord, then follow direction Menaggio (along the lake Como). In Menaggio follow the direction Porlezza-Lugano. Drive through Porlezza and about 12 km after Menaggio and 2 km after Porlezza, you will find, on the right hand side, the HOTEL Parco San Marco Beach Resort & SPA / RESIDENZA San Marco.
• From Milan take the highway "Dei Laghi", cross the border in Chiasso, till Lugano-Sud. From here follow the same direction as for Lugano-Nord.
