The Pinto-Storey Hotel is to be found in a beautiful liberty building at the heart of Chiaia, one of the most exclusive and elegant parts of Naples. The Hotel`s origins date back to 1878,
when the Italian-English couple Pinto-Storey, whose name the hotel
still carries to this day, decided to open an inn. Initially, they
mainly welcomed young English guests from good families on educational
trips to learn more about Italy`s beauty and artistic treasures. The welcoming, homely atmosphere, greatly appreciated by the travelers
from England, has remained intact to the present day, making the
Pinto-Storey Hotel one of the most original hotels in Naples to stay in. Spread out over two floors in the building, the 4th and 5th, the Pinto-Storey welcomes its guests with a warm, familiar atmosphere,
an impeccable service and a friendly environment. The use of wood in
the finishings and luxuriant plants as a form of decoration, makes the
public areas warmer and more inviting. Guests in this pretty, picturesque three star hotel in Naples
can comfortably relax seated on the couch at reception, where there is
a free Internet point, or sip an aperitif at the bar.
The 16 rooms at the Hotel
Pinto Storey are situated on the 4th and 5th floors of a beautiful
liberty style building and come in different styles, to meet the needs
of everyone: 3 singles and 13 doubles, which are divided into standard, double with French bed and superior, with genuine period furniture and, in the bathroom, taps in bronzed brass. The main characteristic that distinguishes these three types of double
rooms is space: the French double bedrooms are smaller than the
standard rooms with a bed width of 1.40 meters, from where the name
derives, while the superior double rooms are much more spacious. All the rooms are soundproofed, well looked after and attractively finished. They are fitted with a wide range of comforts.
The hotel`s breakfast is well known for its vast selection
of teas, fruit juices and desserts which are served to guests each
morning: also offered, classic croissants, biscuits with jam, yogurt
and cereal, fruit and a small, typical Neapolitan sweet cake.
The Pinto-Storey Hotel is situated at the City centre in the heart of Chiaia
area, which located between the Old Centre and sea side road, on the
corner between Via Martucci and Piazza Amedeo, to everyone "the drawing
room of Naples". The hotel has a highly strategic position: from Amedeo's subway stop for fast access to the Central Station of Piazza Garibaldi, Campi Flegrei and Mergellina Station, the Ancient City Center
