“Be aware there is a road between hotel and lake, its not directly on the lake. That fooled us. But very nice staff and good restaurant. Rooms very basic but ok and nice views.„
Commanding breathtaking views and immersed in a relaxing atmosphere
which abounds in cultural reminiscences, the Hotel, was completely
renovated in 2000.
For sports lovers, the Hotel has a sauna and an open-air swimming
pool; you can find tennis courts, golf courses and areas for water
sports activities at about 2Km.
It's the ideal place to stay for business or for pleasure.
The relaxing
harmony of nature and the imposing majesty of Lake Como's waters create
a special atmmosphere where dreams become true.
All rooms have lake view and are furnished in modern style with air conditioning, telephone, satellite colour TV, minibar, safe, bathroom with bath or shower and hairdryer.
For those moments of relaxation you can find the American Bar and the restaurant "L'Attracco" with its varied menus where guests can choice between typical dishes and international cuisine. During the summer, drinks and meals are served on the terrace on the lake.
Situated on Lake Como's southwestern shores, in the characteristic village of Laglio, the Hotel is just 5 Km from Cernobbio and 6 Km from the A 9 Milan-Como motorway and easy reachable from Malpensa and Linate airports.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac This Hotel was listed as a 4-star Hotel, but in reality it is only 2-star hotel. A four-star hotel should have things like a health spa open all day for customers. This had a swimming pool that was guarded by vicious dogs when I tried to use it in the morning. The price at 150 Euros was the most expensive Hotel I have ever stayed in, but we don't think we got value for money. In fact, I think it is tantamount to lying to customers to say that this is a 4-star hotel, and they really should be evaluated again and priced more fairly. I don't have any problem with the staff or the cleanliness of the rooms, it's just that you don't get what you pay for here.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac This hotel is classified as a 4 star hotel. We found this to be more equivalent to a good quality B&B. Although the bathroom was a good size, we found there was a constant smell of sewerage in the bathroom coming via the piping etc. The room was quite basic and we would have expected a kettle with complementary tea/coffee for a 4 star hotel.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac This hotel is a retirement house. Children are not welcome, and it is forbiden to do a lot of things. I won't suggest this hotel to a friend of mine.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel, it is a small friendly hotel on the lakeside with beautiful views over the lake. Very convenient for restraunts and lake cruises. I would recommend the hotel for mature couples/singles. A car is essential but parking is restricted, plenty of street parking.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac The restaurant was poor, especially the service. This is a pity, because the hotel staff [as opposed to the restaurant staff] could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Whilst the room was OK, it did not seem 4 star and we were disappointed at the small size and lack of "luxury" for the price.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac l'albergo è in una buona posizione per visitare le meraviglie del lago e della città di como... il personale dell'albergo mi è sembrato un pò freddo (non ridono mai).... la qualità delle camere in rapporto al prezzo è appena sufficiente.... menomale la vista sul lago!!!

Hotel Plinio Au Lac L'acceuil est glacial, la chambre est sans prétention, des filets de poussiere en hauteur dans la salle de bain, petit dejeuner biscottes et pain dur tout comme les gateaux, par contre la vue est superbe sur le lac, je dirai qu'il ne merite pas du tout 4 etoiles...et de loin.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac Hôtel qui bénéficie d'une très belle vue sur le lac. La décoration de la salle à manger est agréable et actualisée. Le personnel est aimable.Chambre confortable et très propre mais la décoration mériterait d'être rafraichie et actualisée. Laglio constitue un bon point de chute pour visiter le lac mais pas un lieu de séjour.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac L'hôtel n'offre en aucune manière le confort d'une catégorie 4 étoiles. Les prix sont beaucoup trop élevés par rapport aux prestations offertes!!! Les chambres sont petites, étroites et modestes. Le petit-déjeuner laisse également fortement à désirer...

Hotel Plinio Au Lac Nous attendions autre chose d'un 4 étoiles. Disons que c'est un bon 2 étoiles ou un 3 étoiles. Dommage que les horaires de la piscine soient aussi restrictifs (9h30-18h30) et qu'on n'ait ni le droit de sauter, ni d'y faire du bruit (sic!)...pauvres enfants! Hôtel bien situé et vue magnifique sur la lac.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac C'est un excellent hôtel. Dommage, que l'hôtel ne soit pas près d'un embarcadère. Cela éviterait des déplacements en voiture. Il y a aussi le problème de stationnement près de l'hôtel. Mais le personnel fait de son mieux pour résoudre le problème, et il trouve toujours des solutions.

Hotel Plinio Au Lac Comme de nombreux hôtels en Italie, les chambres mériteraient un rafraîchissement, les prestations d'un quatre étoiles étaient là dans l'ensemble, à l'exception de certaines telle une "tisanerie" dans la chambre, c'est à dire de quoi se faire un thé ou un café type Nescafé, l'offre de chaînes de télévision était également plus faible que dans d'autres hôtels européens de même catégorie. Mais bonne adresse d'hôtel à tendance familial donc très sympathique dans l'accueil.
