“Good location, especially for those travelling by train. Breakfast was very good. We were 4 of us, staying in 2 double rooms, both spacious and clean.„
A short distance from the station and Historic Centre, the HOTEL REX is pleased to welcome you for an enjoyable stay. Own car park, lift, facilities for disabled, air conditioning.
The lounge bar, television room and breakfast room are also at your disposal during your stay.
The rooms and apartments all have bathroom, direct -dial telephone, minisafe, air conditioning, minibar, SAT/TV, Hairdryer, internet access.
Travel information
The HOTEL REX is located at Station Square (also called Piazza Ricasoli); so anyone wishing to reach the Hotel needs only to follow the signs to the "STAZIONE" (Station).
By plane: If you arrive at Aereoporto di Pisa - Galileo Galileior at Aeroporto di Firenze - A.Vespucci and continue by car (journey time 30 minutes in both cases): Take the Motorway A11(Firenze-Mare) from Florence towards Pisa or from Pisa towards Florence and leave the Motorway at Lucca, then follow the signs to the "CENTRO" (Centre) and "STAZIONE" (Station).
By Train: When you leave the Station by the main entrance you will clearly see the HOTEL REX on your left.
By Bus: Bus Lazzi and/or Clap to Lucca (stop Piazzale Verdi). On foot walk along Via San Paolino until you reach piazza San Michele; turn right cross The Piazza Napoleone bearing slightly to the left. Then go trough the Town Gate, turn left and after 300 metres you will see the HOTEL REX and the STATION.

Hotel Rex Hotel Rex was our favorite night in Italy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was just outside the train station and near the wall to Lucca center. The breakfast buffet was totally awesome and my children's favorite breakfast. Lots of choices and good quality. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Rex Excellent hotel in excellent location as a base for sightseeing and beside railway station. Friendly, efficient and prompt service. Busy road to the side that can be somewhat noisy until late.

Hotel Rex Ottima ubicazione, a pochi passi dalle mura e dalla stazione. La camera era molto pulita. Lo staff accogliente e disponibile. Consigliabile.

Hotel Rex l'albergo è pulito comodo al centro città facilissimo da raggiungere sia in auto che in treno(!). il personale è disponibile e simpatico, senza troppe smancerie, efficiente. penso di soggiornare spesso in futuro sia in questa struttura che a Lucca, avvalendomi ancora del servizio di prenotazione tramite TRAVELEUROPE.

Hotel Rex La struttura è un pò vecchia, ma è comunque tenuta bene, pulita, la prima colazione è abbondante e buona, il personale è gentile, ma la posizione è forse la qualità migliore.

Hotel Rex Das Hotel ist leider, da es an der Hauptverkehrsstrasse liegt, sehr laut. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und sauber. Gerne hätten wir abends im Bett auch etwas fern gesehen, es gab aber leider nur italienische Sender. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, man wird satt und es ist fast für jeden etwas dabei. Der Service war auch gut. Meine Tochter und ich haben uns in ihrem Hotel wohlgefühlt. Liebe Grüße Familie Klein

Hotel Rex Personal war bezgl. Unterstellmöglichkeit für Motorräder sehr hilfreich und unkonventionell. Wir konnten die Mopeds im videoüberwachten Haupteingang abstellen! Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten mal, MK
