Hotel San Francesco Rome7.9Average Guest Rating based on 236 scores

The Hotel San Francesco is a small and charming boutique hotel located in the most characteristic area of Rome's historical center: Trastevere.
Once a seminary, the owners converted the building to a hotel in August 2001, after a careful and meticulous renovation process. A perfect fusion of soft design and cozy atmosphere, all mixed with the typical kind and friendly Italian service.
Concierge: Our friendly and professional staff will be happy to assist you in booking from a large selection of city tours, as well as tickets for museums, galleries, or even a transfer service to/from the airport. Do not hesitate to ask for good advice on restaurants and pizzerias, so that you can enjoy some of the most authentic cuisine in Rome.
Parking: there is a car park just in front of the hotel which charges circa 20/25 Euros per day. No need to book in advance.
Internet: there is a PC with free internet access in the hall which is available to all our guests. Wi-Fi internet connection is also available.
Finally, we will always do our best to assist you in any way possible, 24 hours a day!
A total of 24 finely decorated rooms with private bathroom and all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safe box, mini bar, ironing board, hairdryer and Wi-Fi internet access.
During the warmer months, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy a glass of fine wine or a refreshing cocktail at the bar located on Hotel San Francesco's roof terrace. An oasis of peace far away from the noise of the city and with an enchanting 360° view over Trastevere and the Aventino Hill. You will love it!!
The buffet at HSF is more than a simple breakfast, it is in fact the best way to prepare for a sightseeing day of Rome’s wonderful monuments and museums. The breakfast room is located on the ground floor and overlooks the beautiful 15th century cloister that belongs to the adjoining Convent of San Francesco a Rip. Coffee, tea, ham, cheese, eggs, bacon, fruit juices, sweet cakes, fresh fruit salad and much more - what more could you desire?
Trastevere is the most trendy district of Rome at this moment. A glamourous zone where ever more people, from all parts of the globe, are transferring themselves enchanted by the fascinating mix of typical and ethnic restaurants, trendy bars, art galleries, emerging designer show rooms and characteristic delicatessens. A sort of Italian Greenwich Village that makes fall in love all who have the good fortune to visit it. Come and discover it for yourselves.
