Hotel San Marino We used the hotel as a stop over meeting up with friends before travelling to Firenze. Nice comfortable hotel in an ideal location, which we would use again if or indeed when we return to Lake Como.

Hotel San Marino A wonderful stay, even though our room face the side of the hill rather than the lake we could always wander down to the terrace for a drink & sit for as long as we liked. Nice restaurant too. A fairly quiet location even though on the main road on the west side of lake Como, & well sited for a pleasant walk into Laglio or a drive around the lake.

Hotel San Marino We were looking forward to a room with balcony a lakeview, but got a tiny dark room with a lot of noise from the street. Cancelled the next day without problems.

Hotel San Marino Good simple hotel behind the quiet village of Laglio run by a delightful and hard-working couple. Rooms with balconies onto the lake are lovely even though they are directly above a quite fast strectch of the main lake road. There is a restaurant at the hotel mainly used by guests but with a good selection of meals of good quality, there are a few restaurants within walking distance in the villages at the edge of the lake otherwise everything is a drive (or a boat and a walk) away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel can be a little hard to find as it is on the upper lake road not the lower Laglio road.
