Among the several services, the Hotel Selene provides a "pass" for the guests who arrive by car so that they can travel around limited traffic area: all you need to do is tell the reception your car number plate when booking.
It is possible to park the car in a garage that has an agreement with the hotel that is near the hotel or, if you arrive by plane, book a private shuttle bus to and from the airport.
The rooms at the 'Hotel Selene are large and extremely bright, the ideal place where to rest after a busy day. Most of the rooms look out onto the wonderful Teatro dell'Opera in Rome or onto Via Principe Amedeo, a very quiet area as it is a limited traffic area.
Sober, classical, and elegant furniture that helps to create a sensation of total relaxation: pastel colored upholstery, padded headboards, mahogany furniture, blue carpet. The en-suite bathrooms are all in marble, with tub and shower and accessories made from wrought iron.

- To reach the hotel from Fiumicino Airport you can take a taxi, book the shuttle bus at reception or use public transport: the train leaving the airport station takes you directly to Termini Station. Turn left onto Via Cavour from Piazza dei Cinquecento. Walk for about 200 meters and then turn right into Via Giovanni Amendola. Carry on until you cross Via del Viminale, where you will find Hotel Selene at number 8.
- To reach the hotel from the "G.B. Pastine" (Ciampino) Airport in Rome, you can take a taxi, book a shuttle at our reception desk or use public transportation with the Schiaffini or Cotral buses that arrive directly at the line A Anagnina stop, direction Termini. Hotel Selene When I closed the big French door/window to the street, there was total silence in the room- no street sounds at all! The hallway to the room and the bathroom looked newly renovated.
Hotel Selene The room and the reception area were the size of a shoebox. We only stayed one night so it wasn't that important. Since we left for the airport at 6:45 we didn't get breakfast, so we never even saw the room where it was served. There were 2boxes of fresh croissants delivered to the reception area where we were waiting for our cab and the man working offered for us to have one, which was very nice of him, since we weren't getting breakfast.

Hotel Selene Rome est une ville magnifique, nous avons apprécié la façon de vivre des romains, ......il n y a pas l'impression d'être dans une capitale,...... pas de climat d insécurité le jour ou la nuit. Petit bemol, il n y a pas beaucoup d'effort en général des italiens a parler francais... neanmoins je conseille vivement un sejour dans cette ville
