Hotel Turner Rome7.2Average Guest Rating based on 25 scores
“It was a very nice hotel. Our room was lovely and even thought there were many guests in the hotel it was extremely quiet. The ladies taking care of the continental breakfast area were wonderful, cheery, and very helpful.„

The Turner Hotel is a four-stars and first class hotel, in the center of Rome, situated at a few steps from the historic Porta Pia. The hotel also faces the Departments of Public Works and Transports and stands near many Ambassies and Consulates.
The reception is open to guests 24h, the fine marble staircase connects the lounge, which is decorated with antique furniture, with the bar and the breakfast room.
For those wishing to organize a reunion or a business meeting, the Sala dei Marmi (the marble floor is inspired by the Clementine Hall in the Vatican) offers a beautiful setting, with the latest in equipment and seating capacity of up to 50 people.
In addition, clients can take advantage of internet point, newspapers, and the special rates negotiated with laundry. At the reception, the professional staff is very courteous and ready to provide guests with useful tourist information for booking excursions and guided tours.
True jewels of elegance and comfort, the 47 rooms and suites of Hotel Turner offer very cozy and inviting settings in which to completely relax after a day spent visiting the city or an exhausting day at work.
Just like the rest of the hotel, rooms are decorated with fine fabrics and Bois de rose and Boulle styles, creating a very charming atmosphere.
The private bathrooms have towels and personalized beauty kit, while the superior, junior suite and suite deluxe are done in marble and come with shower, Jacuzzi, and also a Turkish bath.
The hotel has a bar and a breakfasr room that has walls decorated with sumptuous silk damasks and at times with golden stucco decorations. Here guests can have a continental breakfast served as a buffet, for the enjoyment of the international clientele that comes to stay at the Turner Hotel.
In summer, the charming roof garden opens and you can spend a peaceful time sipping a drink or having a coffee.
Hotel Turner is located in the center, in Porta Pia, one of the most important places in the history of Italy, across from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (Public Works), and close to the British Embassy and other embassies and consulates.
Located 900 meters from Stazione Termini and from the airport shuttle Terminal, the hotel is near the most beautiful urban park in Rome, Villa Borghese, which is a 10-minute walking distance. A 15-minute walk is what it takes to get to Teatro della Dolce Vita on Via Veneto, which dates from the '60s and is still one of the more elegant and exclusive ones.
The Turner Hotel is very well serviced by public transport which allows convenient access to the main museums and monuments found in the city's historical center.
Bus number 60, has a frequency of every 5 minutes (stops in front of the Hotel) and goes directly to Via dei Fori Imperiali all the way to the Coliseum, the 62 (every 15 minutes), goes to Saint Peter's Square and goes by Via Veneto.
Also departing from Stazione Termini which can be reached by two stops of bus 90, are the tourist buses "110 Open" (itinerary takes you throughout the city and to historical and artistic landmarks) and the "Archeobus" (archeological itinerary of Rome all the way to the Old Apian Way).

Hotel Turner The hotel was dirty. The bedspread on the bed was stained and it smelled. I requested the bedspread be changed and it was not. The hotel was not clean.

Hotel Turner Stayed her for 4 nights for business. However, I found the hotel to be situated perfectly also for touristic things. The area was quite and safe. Did walk to the major sigths in the city without any problem, even if it took 20 minutes or so. The hotel is different, but nice due to the old decoration. The breakfast as in many hotels in Rome is not good compared to most other big cities in the world. At least we got cheese and ham and an orange now and then. I would consider staying here again

Hotel Turner Day reception let this hotel down as tourist information and greeting was very poor. Rooms booked as twins were not available but were offered to change the following day but this required losing valuable time in Rome. Overall the hotel needs maintenace and has a general feeling of being run down-some floors devoted to private apartments. Bathroom space limited and our rooms very dark.

Also am Tag.
