Hotel Villa Gabrisa Positano

The hotel, formerly an ancient villa owned by the Rispoli family, is located in a fabulous residential area of the historic centre of Positano, at less than 15 minute walk from the beaches.

From every elegant and full comfort room there is an expansive view of the deep blue water of the Tyrrhenian sea, of the famed “Li Galli” islands and a picturesque view of one angle of Positano.

The hotel provides air conditioning and WIFI internet connection (FON) to every common area, a hall where you can entertain any guest, a bar, open to public, with a large selection of distillates and Champagne or Spumante cocktails and a restaurant, also open to public, of local tradition where you can taste some typical Neapolitan dishes or others created with a Mediterranean influence.

Every room is equipped with every modern comfort for give to all our guest a very comfortable journey. Equipments available in every room are individual air conditioning, centralized heating (available only in winter season but in additional to the individual air condition that already replace the main heating), electronic safe, mini bar, private bathroom with hair dryer, telephone with direct outside line and TV SAT/Pay per view.

TV SAT and Pay per view services are offered by the International company SKY TV and gives to all our guests a large variety of English spoken channels (some available also in different languages).

A meticulous care of the details, for example Murano’s crystal Chandeliers, ceramics from Capodimonte, antique furniture's and tiled bathrooms with Vietri’s ceramics, complete and makes unique a warm and elegant atmosphere from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea.

All the rooms overlook the mythological sea of Positano. Light colors, ceramic tiled floors, domes, arches, vaults, typical of the Mediterranean tradition, and a secular vine that wounds almost every terrace are what characterize every single room.

Standard: Located in the attic, they are very bright and warm rooms and all have a private bathroom with shower and balcony with an endless and incredible view of the sea.

 Deluxe: Located between the first and second floor, they generally have a large terrace or, in the case of the room on the first floor, a balcony but with a large room with living area equivalent to a suite. Every room has been furnished with handicraft furniture's, originally made in Tuscany, and bathrooms with whirlpool bathtubs or showers.

Suite: Those are the largest rooms of the entire hotel. Just like all the other rooms they have a balcony or terrace that overlooks the sea but their real particularity is the family antique furniture’s in it, of a period approximately located between ‘700 and ‘800, and also of other handicraft furniture’s produced in Florence, make those rooms the most valued of the hotel. Located on the first floor they are also the most comfortable ones. They have a bright living area and bathrooms with whirlpool bathtub or shower.

The restaurant “da Gabrisa” offers a marvelous view of the sea, a comfortable and elegant atmosphere and a typical local cuisine, based on receipts of our culinary tradition.

A careful research of the details is evident in the caring of the furnishing and in the chef’s daily gastronomic suggestions.

Our cuisine is also very careful to a multiethnic customer, offering a different variety of vegetarian dishes or following specific diets on request.
