Napoli Capodichino International Airport has an annual traffic of over 5.5 million passengers arriving with both cheap flights by Easy Jet, Trawel Fly, Vallée Air, Air Berlin, Transavia, Spanair, Vueling and flag carriers such as Lufthansa, Alitalia, Meridiana and Air One.
The airport was recently renovated and now provides all the amenities of a modern airport: a bureau de change at the Arrivals hall, an Intesa San Paolo bank window and a post office at Terminal 1, the latter located near the Departure area, on the outside. There is also a Customer Service counter, in the arrivals hall on the ground floor, with trained personnel who will take care of travelers. Within the Airport there are adequate facilities for disabled people.
Inside the airport there are shops and eateries. The commercial offering is quite diverse, fashion, accessories, jewelry, gifts and especially food and wine products from Campania.
You can reach the airport of Naples by bus from Central Station, specifically from Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza del Municipio, or by taxi which costs € 15.50 from the station and about 23 € from one of the hotels located on the waterfront in Naples.
