“La Palazzina Veneziana” , once a private house in neogothic style and now a refined guest house, is set in one of the most charming corners of Venice. From “Santa Lucia” railway station, if you walk about 500 meters towards Rialto, you’ll reach “Il Ponte delle Guglie” where “La Palazzina” stands.

Guests will appreciate the lovely care profused in every detail by the owner, Mrs Lucia and by her daughter Stefania, who are expert in choosing everything with elegance and refinement in order to assure all their guests an excellent stay in their luxurious and elegant bed and breakfast.

The spacious rooms, all equipped with every modern comfort, resemble with their curtains, upholstery and the lacquered furniture the elegant atmosphere of ancient Venice. Mirrors, carpets and paintings of great value witness the high quality present in every detail. If you visit Ca’ Rezzonico Museum, concerning Venice in the XVIII century, you’ll be astonished because everything here is like a déjà vù.

Area information

“La Palazzina Veneziana”,”, once a private house and now a guest house providing superior and exclusive accommodation, is set in Cannaregio in one of the most charming corners of Venice. From “Santa Lucia” railway station, if you walk about 500 meters towards Rialto, you’ll reach “Il Ponte delle Guglie” where “La Palazzina” stands. For those arriving by train or bus, Cannaregio is the gate to the city and to “Canal Grande”. The old Jewish ghetto with its museums and the majestic palace Ca’ d’Oro, one of the most emblematic buildings of “Canal Grande”, deserve a visit.

Travel information

By Train

If you travel by train there are no particular problems; you just have to check that your train continues to "Venezia Santa Lucia" Station. Tickets Mestre- Venezia, which are valid for 60 minutes (more than enough, because trains are frequent in Venice and the journey takes you just 10 minutes), should be purchased in the station, at the ticket office or at the left luggage office and obliterated before getting on the train. 

To reach "La Palazzina Veneziana", from "Venezia Santa Lucia" railway station take the speamboat (vaporetto) number 42 or 51, which leaves from "Piazzale Roma" and get off at the second stop named "Guglie", right in front of our refined bed and breakfast.

By car

Follow the road signs to Venice until you arrive in “Piazzale Roma”. In “Piazzale Roma” there are several paying garages open 24 hours.  Garage San Marco, Piazzale Roma 467/f. There is also a car park run by ACI open 24 hours too.

To reach “La Palazzina Veneziana” take the steamboat (vaporetto) number 42 or 51 which leaves from “Piazzale Roma” and get off at the second stop named “Guglie”, which is placed in front of “La Palazzina Veneziana”. 

By plane

Marco Polo Airport is a first class terminal. It is located 12 km by land and 10 km by sea from Venice and it is well connected to the city by public transport (both by land and by sea). The airport is also well connected to Mestre Railway Station.
