By PLANE :

Out of "Marco Polo Airport", you can take the public service "ALILAGUNA" (ticket is EURO 10,00 per person) and in 55 minutes you will arrive at St. Marco Square Gardens. Get off and follow the little map on the RIGHT and you arrive in our Hotel. (This service is every hours at minutes 10 past (12.10...17:10...20:10.the last is at 00:10 ) or there is a bus shuttle to PIAZZALE ROMA - the last is at 00:20, then take the public service boat "VAPORETTO" Line 1 or or "N" (after midnight ) to SAN ZACCARIA ( or only in the Summer the Line 82 )
If you will arrive at "San Giuseppe Airport" in TREVISO you can take the bus shuttle ATVO ( connecting with each flight ) and in 45 minutes you will arrive at PIAZZALE ROMA, then take the public service boat "VAPORETTO" Line 1 or Line "N"( after midnight ) to SAN ZACCARIA.( or only in the Summer the Line 82 ) ( TICKET EURO 5,00 PER PERSON)

By CAR: You can park at GARAGE SAN MARCO. You can reach it passing all the Long Bridge PONTE DELLA LIBERTA' that connects Venice to Mainlands, you will arrive at PIAZZALE ROMA and you must drive to the second big garage. The daily price is Euro 26,00 but we will give you a voucher for a 10% discount ( 20%in the Winter ) Then take the public service boat "VAPORETTO" Line 1 or Line 51 ( or only in the Summer the Line 82 ) direct to SAN ZACCARIA ( TICKET EURO 5,00 PER PERSON) Here get off and follow the map on the LEFT.

BY TRAIN: out the Railways Station " SANTA LUCIA" take the public service boat "VAPORETTO" Line 1 or Line 51 ( or only in the Summer the Line 82 ) direct to SAN ZACCARIA (TICKET EURO 3,50-5,00 PER PERSON) Here get off and follow the map on the LEFT.

Casa "AL LEON" is situated in a street named "CALLE DEGLI ALBANESI " that is near the bridge in the map, between the Old Prison Palace and the Hotel Danieli Excelsior. Take this and the last door on the left , before the small square named "Campo SS.Filippo e Giacomo", is Casa "AL LEON" .

Locanda Al Leon Hotel Al Leon is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, of this price range. Remodeled in recent years to absolutely top, perfect standards, everything is of excellent quality. The furnishings are lovely, the decor is absolutely charming without being tacky; comfort and pleasure of surroundings is assured. The housekeeping staff is quiet as can be and completely behind the scenes, their work is impeccable; the rooms couldn't be any cleaner. This charming, quiet hotel has lovely, good sized rooms that are perfectly appointed. We were thrilled with the big, cuddly, thirsty towels and the shower had perfect, awesome pressure! I could have stayed in that shower for hours! The air conditioning worked perfectly and quiet, and even though our rooms were pitched over a buzy piazzale, we heard not a single noise. The breakfast served is perfect. Fresh baked goods, cereal, excellent coffee, fresh juice. What I like best about this hotel is the details... everything is thought out for comfort and logic. It's like being home and knowing what to expect from your surroundings. I must also add that the location couldn't be any better, just mere steps from the Zaccarias landing. This hotel makes Venice a worthwhile visit even in the sweltering summer crowds!

Locanda Al Leon Great hotel! very clean, comfortable, located in the center of venice. The rooms are beautiful, and the staff is very helpful (thank you!). Though a little expensive, no doubt - worth it.

Locanda Al Leon Il n'y a même pas de salle pour le petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner (très frugal et de qualité très moyenne) est obligatoirement servi dans la chambre où il n'y a même pas deux chaises ni un emplacement de table suffisant pour manger à deux.

Locanda Al Leon Klein und fein, speziell der kleinere, jüngere Portier mit den ganz kurzen Haaren äußerst nett und freundlich!
