“Spotlessly clean rooms and nicely decorated rooms. Beautiful location, in a small, typical venetian alley. Vey good breakfast and lovely staff.„
Young couple - Spain, May 2011

A couple of steps from the Accademia and from the Basilica della Salute, near St. Mark's Square and all the places of greatest cultural interest: one of the most exclusive bed & breakfasts in Venice...
Palazzo Guardi is a noble Venetian residence dating back to the XV century, completely restructured and equipped with every kind of comfort to offer its guests an unforgettable stay in the heart of Venice.
The Palace is named after the celebrated Venetian painter Francesco Guardi, the author of some invaluable scenes of the seventeen hundreds of the this lagoon city, today housed in the Galleria dell'Accademia, situated just a few steps from our Residence. It is said that some of these works were inspired precisely by the splendid panoramic view that you can enjoy looking out from the Palazzo Guardi windows.
This exclusive and luxurious Bed & Breakfast in Venice is composed of two buildings, each characterized by a style that is exquisitely Venetian. In the main building there is a magnificent lounge enhanced by lampshades in Murano glass and with a large picture window from which you can admire the San Trovaso Canal and the historic Squero di San Trovaso, the legendary workshop where today craftsmen still construct the famous Venetian gondolas.
In the lounge there is also an area dedicated to Internet enthusiasts who will find a PC where they can link up to the net at any moment of the day.
Venetian style: the walls have damasked coverings, some entirely decorated with reproductions of Guardi's and Canaletto's works, lacquered furniture in XVI century design and in the delicate colors in fashion in the Most Serene Republic of Venice.
The atmosphere of a noble Venetian residence that you will find in this exclusive Venice Bed & Breakfast is perfectly matched to the most modern comforts with which each room is provided: private bathroom, air conditioning, hairdryer, safe, Internet link, satellite TV, phone and minibar.
There are numerous rooms of various different types, to satisfy every kind of need: 10 doubles, 3 triples, 2 suites (double bedroom connected to another room with a French bed), 2 four-bedded rooms with the possibility of adding a fifth bed, and a deluxe suite to sleep 5-6 guests.
In the annex there is a splendid hall where breakfast is served, with ceiling beams and authentic decorations dating back to the XV century and which, on request, can also be used as a meeting room.
To make your stay even more comfortable and relaxing, guests can also have breakfast in their rooms.
Palazzo Guardi is close to the new cruise terminal that departs from the port of Venice and it is one of the most comfortable hotels to reach themaritime station from where thecruise ships depart from and head towards the other Mediterranean destinations.
This prestigious Bed & Breakfast in Venice is situated in Rio San Trovaso near the Accademia, in an extremely strategic position from which you can quickly reach all the places of major artistic and cultural interest in Venice.
Just a few yards away from Palazzo Guardi there are the Galleria dell'Accademia, where a great many works by famous painters from both Venice and elsewhere are housed, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Zattere, the ideal place for a romantic stroll, and the spectacular Basilica della Salute, built by the Venetians to celebrate having overcome the plague.
Piazza San Marco, the pulsing heart of Venice, the La Fenice Theatre and the famous Rialto Bridge are just a few minutes away from this exclusive Bed & Breakfast.

Palazzo Guardi The hotel has 3 buildings. We did not stay in the main hotel, but rather 5min away in a 3 hotel room flat. It didn't effect our stay in anyway, only that there was no one to assist you (immediately) if you had questions regarding hotel issues or sight seeing questions. We had to dial 0 to connect to the main hotel. It was kind of nice to have the place/building to ourselves. We had 2 of the 3 rooms. Our air conditioners went out on the first night and it was a hot night. Somebody from the main hotel came by to look at it late at night, but could not fix it. It didn't get fixed during our stay. Luckly, the second night was much cooler and easier for sleeping. My husband call on the day of check out and spoke to the manager, to inquire about compensation of no air on the first night. Manager was very understanding and accomodating, he gave us 75% discount for our first night. We were satisfied with the discount. Location was ideal for us, I don't like to stay where all the action is. We were able to walk to all of the main attactions, not far at all. Very much liked the location. Hotel is difficult to find, it's not "highlight" in big letters. Yet, all of Venice is a big maze, but a welcomed one.

Palazzo Guardi I had a beautiful room over the cartoleria on the trovaso canalcalled the Bucintoro. Very spacious, two windows, view of the canal and next to the best "cichetti" place in Venice, and the zatere which I love. Catherine Weinrich Fattorini

Palazzo Guardi Sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer wirklich schön, sehr sauber, gute Lage, ruhig.
