Palazzo Guardi is a noble Venetian residence dating back to the XV century, completely restructured and equipped with every kind of comfort to offer its guests an unforgettable stay in the heart of Venice.

The Palace is named after the celebrated Venetian painter Francesco Guardi, the author of some invaluable scenes of the seventeen hundreds of the this lagoon city, today housed in the Galleria dell'Accademia, situated just a few steps from our Residence. It is said that some of these works were inspired precisely by the splendid panoramic view that you can enjoy looking out from the Palazzo Guardi windows.

This exclusive and luxurious Bed & Breakfast in Venice is composed of two buildings, each characterized by a style that is exquisitely Venetian. In the main building there is a magnificent lounge enhanced by lampshades in Murano glass and with a large picture window from which you can admire the San Trovaso Canal and the historic Squero di San Trovaso, the legendary workshop where today craftsmen still construct the famous Venetian gondolas.

By air

From Venice's "Marco Polo" airport there are several different options for reaching Palazzo Guardi:

• By private water taxi you can go directly into Rio di San Trovaso, where this exclusive Venice Bed & Breakfast is situated. The fare is about 80 euro
• Taking the “Alilaguna” motorboat service, get off at the “Zattere” stop. Once you get off, with your back to the jetty, continue straight on Rio Terà Foscarini, take the first left, Calle Larga Pisani, at the end turn right on Rio Terà della Carità, and immediately left on Calle del Pistor, the entrance to Palazzo Guardi is at number 995
• The "Venezia Air Terminal" bus will bring you to Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. To get to Palazzo Guardi you can take the no. 1 vaporetto and get off at the Accademia stop or take the no. 82 vaporetto and get off at the Zattere stop.
• From the Accademia: turning your back on the landing jetty, head right and take the first on your left, Rio Terà della Carità, until the crossing on your right with Calle del Pistor where you will find Palazzo Guardi at number 995.
• From the Zattere:with your back to the pier, go to your left, and soon after, without crossing Ponte Longo, turn right. Go along Fondamenta Nani for approximately 100 meters, until the crossing with Calle del Pistor, where you will find Palazzo Guardi at number 995.

By train

• From the Station you can take vaporetto n° 1 and get off at the Accademia stop or take the no. 82 vaporetto and get off at the Zattere stop.
• From the Accademia: turning your back on the landing jetty, head right and take the first on your left, Rio Terà della Carità, until the crossing on your right with Calle del Pistor where you will find Palazzo Guardi at number 995.
• From the Zattere: with your back to the pier, go to your left, and soon after, without crossing Ponte Longo, turn right. Go along Fondamenta Nani for approximately 100 meters, until the crossing with Calle del Pistor, where you will find Palazzo Guardi at number 995.

By car

• If you arrive by car you can park in Piazzale Roma or at the Tronchetto. From the Tronchetto, take vaporetto no. 82 to Piazzale Roma. From there, take vaporetto n° 1 and get off at the Accademia stop or take the no. 82 vaporetto and get off at the Zattere stop.
• From the Accademia: turning your back on the landing jetty, head right and take the first on your left, Rio Terà della Carità, until the crossing on your right with Calle del Pistor where you will find Palazzo Guardi at number 995.
