Property information

The Residenza Cannaregio in the past was a monastery of the XVII century from that it has inherited the structure of cloister with the typical internal court; in the first years of the XIX century it became a "squero",  the place where Venetians used to build gondolas; nowdays it has been transformed in a very modern and comfortable structure. Thanks to the central position, the Residenza Cannaregio is easy to reach by public boats and is provided with a private access for the gondolas and water taxi on St. Alvise Canal.
The perfect place for all kind of meetings is the "Saletta", just next to the bar, which can host 30 people.

To supply to the guests a pleasant stay, the large bedrooms are enriched with mezzanine floors and are equipped with all the modern comforts.

Food & Beverage

To enjoy your stay, an attentive staff is ready to satisfy the guest in the bar "Al Grappolo" where could taste fine wine and to "Al Piron" restaurant that offers you à la carte menù with typical and international courses served on the "terrace" in the romantic venetian atmosphere of the inside garden.

Area information

It is located in Cannaregio, one of the most authentic and picturesque areas of the city, where still today is possibile to find traditions of a popular Venice, few steps away from the Campo De Gheto Novo, the oldest jewish settlement in Europe and not far from Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square.

Travel information

From piazzale Roma or railway station take water bus 52/42 and get off at San Alvise. From San Alvise go ahead by walk to the Campo, turn right following the canal and cross the stone bridge. The pink palace is the Residenza Cannaregio.
