Formerly made of wood, Rialto Bridge became a stone bridge only in 1500, but the current shape dates back to XVII century. Its architecture structure, “bold” for that time, raised many doubts and many predicted the collapse within a short time: at a distance of 400 years the bridge, firmest, is still a symbol of the city.
