Zanhotel Il Canale Centrally located, near the train station and piazza maggiore. Bright and comfortable room. We had a good experience and would stay there again.

Zanhotel Il Canale Good Hotel. Well placed in the city center. A little bit of the side and with walking distance to everything. Sadly there where no hotwater when we stayed there. So we could not take any shower. Which was a bit sad.

Zanhotel Il Canale The hotel has an excellent location, but the surrounding streets were incredibly dirty (rats runover by cars, overflowing garbage dumpsters, etc.). The staff spoke almost no English and were remarkably unfriendly. The upholstery, headboards, and bedspreads were all pretty dingy-looking, and some surfaces in the bathrooms looked unclean. The breakfast was very good. Parking is a big problem in Bologna, but the staff did help us find a spot, so that was a highlight.

Zanhotel Il Canale As it was extremely hot weather whilst we were in Bologna it was necessary to have the air conditioning on constantly. Unfortunately it was very noisy and somewhat disturbing at night. However we really enjoyed our stay at Il Canale and Bologna.

Zanhotel Il Canale the hotel was excellent and provided the best breakfast and coffee we had in our entire stay in Italy! Staff at the front desk assisted with arranging taxis, giving directions, advice about restaurants and ordering pizzas - they could not have been more helpful. The lady who made breakfast was cheeriness itself. One thing that is odd, is the truly appalling translation in the hotel guide: it does not make sense in English at all; however, it did give us some unlooked for merriment!

Zanhotel Il Canale Nous avons été enchantés de cet hôtel, très accueillant et idéalement situé. Il n'y a rien à critiquer. Juste une petite remarque : il est étonnant que des chambres de ce prix ne disposent que d'une douche et non d'une baignoire. Le personnel était très aimable.

Zanhotel Il Canale Hoteltausch wir wurden vom Il Canale (zentral gelegen aber keine feine Gegend) zum Hotel Tre Vecchi geschickt und zu gleichen Konditionen dort untergebracht. Zanhotel Il Canale für ältere Leute beschwerlich, dass kein Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe ist. Die öffentliche Parkgarage ist zu weit weg!

Zanhotel Il Canale Es war im Vorfeld nicht eindeutig zu klären, ob jemand beim Gepäckausladen - nötig wegen eigener Behinderung - zur Verfügung steht. Bei Ankunft bekamen wir zunächst eine dumme Antwort und keine Hilfe, nach Intervention wurde dann Hilfe aus benachbartem Hotel organisiert. Bei Abfahrt funktionierte es dann problemlos. Insgesamt ging es uns sehr gut. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und die Lage sehr gut.
